Which Epcot-area resort would you choose?

We LOVE BWI but I can see how the theme might not appeal to younger folks, we are in our 60s. The boat in directly in front of the hotel which is very nice. Stayed (2) times in a waterview/boardwalk room (balcony views are beautiful). (2) times in a Garden View is OK and once in a Standard View (overlooked entrance) but we could see DHS fireworks from the balcony. We were lucky enough to be upgraded once for our 30th anniversary to CL and it was very nice but I'm not sure I can justify the $100+ extra per night for us.

Swan and Dolphin use to be less $$ but not so much now. The rooms are just as large and have been refurbed. You have to pay for a balcony at both, which we like, and that usually increases the $$ to almost the same as Disney's. The boat is the same and you have always had to pay extra to park like Disney is now going to do. NO Magical Express.

Stayed at BCV once and wasn't impressed. The theme was really dull to us and we got stuck with a patio even after requesting not be be on the 1st floor. We have BC HOTEL booked next month and I'm hoping to get a "sitting balcony" that I requested, not all rooms have them. The theme looks the same as the Villas though.

Never stayed at YC, and probably want. It's huge and I'm not very happy about the dog policy there.

Wow, sounds like they're all winners! (maybe with Yacht Club getting a slight edge?) I think I'll have to pass on that clown pool at Boardwalk though...something about seeing IT at an impressionable age...thanks for all the feedback everyone! Looks like I've got some saving to do :D

I have become a huge fan of the Swan & Dolphin after many stays at BC and BW. I look at S/D first now. Among BW, BC and YC...I would choose BW. I don't love SAB as much as when my kids were young. I find it really crowded.

I tend to prefer Boardwalk since it had a great theme to the resort. I know some people prefer the pool at Beach Club but for me it was the overall theme of BWV that makes it better.

If money were no object,YC for me. It's my all time favorite resort on all of Disney property. I love the location, it feels more adult to me than BC and I like the quiet pools a little better than BW. Having said that, I've stayed in all of them and you really can't go wrong. Since money is an object, lately we stay at Dolphin since it's less than all of them. We really like Swan/Dolphin, great pools, great pool bar, great location.

Definitely the Yacht Club. We've stayed both there as well as at every other Epcot area resort (minus The Swan) and I think it's the best fit for a romantic, adults-only trip. It tends to be quieter than The Beach Club but still offers access to that same, amazing pool complex. The Crew's Cup Lounge is one of our favorite places on all of Disney World property and with the newly refurbished rooms I think it would be an amazing choice.
