If you could spend your birthday at any DVC resort, which one would you choose? I can't decide if I would rather enjoy the relaxing feel of HH, or the hustle and bustle of BWV! Or...maybe a birthday is the perfect time to try someplace new?! So, where would you stay?
The BWV because if I want some action I can go over to the Boardwalk side and if I want peace and quiet I could go over to the quiet pool area for a barbeque or some quiet time in the hot tub. Maybe a little of both. That's what makes the BWV great.
We never really travel to WDW in March so I don't think we'll ever be there for our birthdays (DH and I are two days apart). If we were I'd say Boardwalk. That's our home and we love it. We'd celebrate with dinner over at Yachtsman Steakhouse and then walk into Epcot to watch Illuminations. I think that would be a great way to celebrate!
14th & 15th birthdays at poly
16 17 18 at fort wilderness campground
had my first legal drink at Capt. Hooks Hideaway at the Poly
still have the fancy frosted goblet type glass
then since I've been married it's been off site twice
Carribean beach , All Stars , Corranado
Twice since buying at BW
And will be celebrating my 45th at BW in 10 days
My birthday usually falls in Easter break week and that's when we're usually there
So it doesn't realy matter which resort
I just love being at disney for my birthday
i agree with FarmerJohn any dvc resort would make my birthday magical and just being in wdw.
we have been there for our 2 dd birthdays. and we always end up spend dh in mackinac island, to meet in laws up there on their vacation. mine, i spend it home, and not our second home
I have been at the OKW resort and BCV for my birthday. Any resort would be fine but I am looking forward to something special for my wifes 50th in a few years. I know she love the BCV.
I'm actually spending my birthday at HH this year. I've never been there but I'm sure it will be nice. I'd be happy at any of the DVC resorts to be honest
Great question. Okay, I am early March. Too late for the "cool" season when VWL would head the list. AKL villas if they existed would certainly top my list as I love that resort.
But I keep returning to OKW and its laid back relaxed feeling or BCV for proximity to two theme parks, the Boardwalk, SAB and lots of great restaurants in walking distance.
My choice would be BWV. I have spent several birthdays there and it is wonderful. This year though, I get double the fun: my birthday celebration will be spent on the 7 day Eastern Caribbean Disney cruise followed by a week at BWV! Yahoo!!!
For my 40th birthday next year, my DW, & DD are staying at the Poly concierge! This will be the only time I can say I can't wait for my Birthday to be here!!
