I voted for Other. The other would be NO MORE NEW DVC RESORTS at Disney World. Frankly, I'd like something closer to the midwest that would be an easy destination for the middle of the country folks who have so much expense involved with flying to WDW.
My first choice, and perhaps the only one I would buy into, would be at the Grand Floridian, or possibly a new resort with monorail access. I would certainly use one in the DC area, or in the Caribbean, but I wouldn't buy there.
I definitely voted based on what I wanted not what I think....it seems like Grand Floridian is almost all but certain and there are lots of rumblings of future DL offerings if Aulani goes well...
So I voted
DL hotel
Vegas
National Harbor
National Harbor -- Ok, I admit it. I'm a history nut. There are so many things that I want to see and do in that part of the country. I want to re-visit our nation's capital. I want to see Philadelphia and Amish country, and lots of places there.
FWIW, I completely agree with your sentiment, and I would prefer they have only one DVC until it sells out, let the market simmer while they build another, then sell again. If DVD wants to make money, they could use their RoFR to keep the irons hot. This would likely result in a stronger market and resale price, which in turn strengthens the case for $140/point.
If Mexico did not have the problems it has today, I would love a Mexican themed resort in the Yucatan Peninsula. It would be a good point between both the east and west coast and it is absolutely beautiful there. Too bad it has so many problems.
