Which do you prefer?

Planning a character breakfast for our next trip. The kids and I are undecided. Should we go back to our favorite Cape May Buffet or try something new and do Donald's Breakfastsaurus sp?

What do you prefer? Is it because of characters or better selection of food?

We did Donald's Safari breakfast at 8am two weeks ago and we all loved it.

The food was very good! Great selection, very tasty.
Character interaction also very good- Donald, Dasiy, Mickey and Goofy all stop by each table for autographs and pictures, then Goofy led the kids on a dance around the room- great fun.

Plus if you do a 8am ressie, you are the first onto the Safari!
Go for it~

We ate at Donalds Safari Breakfast last trip and loved it!!
I really enjoyed the variaty of food, the theme/atmosphere
and the characters were fun. I was surprised that the
juice and coffee were very good (coffee didn't taste like
the typical Nescafe that is served at most restaurants
at WDW). Unless your staying at the Beach Club I would
go out of your way to eat there. Just eat at DSB on your
AK Day!

If you are asking about the two you mentioned, we've only done Cape May Cafe and it was very good. We have not done your other one listed.

Our favorite is Crystal Palace for breakfast with Pooh and friends. Love the puffed french toast and potato casserole.

We love Cape May but would not mind trying Tusker House because I hear it is similar to Boma and we LOVE Boma

We did both in Jan 2009.

Cape May Cafe - fresher food- in particular the fruit. However the atmosphere there is fresh and vibrant. It was a calm breakfast. We had ALOT of character interaction. Goofy came by 3-4 times.

Tusker House - I actually ate the meat from the carving station here - I think it was ham - this bodes well for them as I am not usually one to eat this Atmosphere was lively- the characters to a parade with instruments (bean shakers). However we only saw the characters each once.
Jungle Juice was amazing. Service was very good (clearing table, refills etc). Early 8 am ressie makes seeing AK closed and empty and riding the safari first!

If I had to pick just one I would go with Tusker House due to location in park. Although Cape May is more my style, being iN AK early was priceless.

We also did both in Jan 09.

Tusker House Pros: Inside a park, better food, buffet layout had pods so easier to get to food (no lines) Jungle Juice is excellent.
Tusker House Cons: A bit noisier with the hard floors, character interaction was for shorter periods (similar to other character meals we have done).
Cape May Pros: Very quiet, long character interaction with Goofy and Donald (Minnie was pretty quick).
Cape May Cons: Food is bland, nothing unusual, just standard breakfast fare. Also, if you are not staying right there (we were staying BC), it's not that convenient to get to it.

We will be returning to Tusker House as we loved the food there. Cape May was not terrible but not high on our list to return to.

Do Donald's Safari! I love it- food, character interaction, everything.
Juice is delicious and good selection of food-and I love the safari costumes they're all in

Tusker House is our least favorite character breakfast. The food is good/nice selection, but we've found it to have the worst character interaction - very rushed & we don't care for the noisy/cramped atmosphere.

The food selection at Cape May might be more limited than Tusker House, but the atmosphere & characters more than make up for it. We saw the characters 3-4 times each & they would spend a ridiculous amount of time with us. The atmosphere at Cape May is so much more relaxed than Tusker House.
