Which DLH Tower

How do you find out which tower of the DLH you're staying in. We booked thru TA. Would she be able to tell us? In the past when we have stayed at WDW (specifically at the Poly) we could only make a room request and not guaranteed any particular building.

I think it's much the same as at WDW
You can make a request, but unless you pay extra for something like upper theme park view (which most likely should get you Sierra tower) you probably won't know until you check-in. At least that has been our experience.

Thanks for the information. Our reservation has resort view. What does that mean?

We just booked resort view concierge, and the CM on the phone told me it was going to be Sierra Tower overlooking DTD. So, you'll probably get Sierra Tower with a Resort View, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Not sure if the non-concierge resort view rooms could be in other towers. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

Just checked ressies again. We have Tower Room -Pool View. We are not staying concierge, so I guess that mean it could be any tower facing the pool. If we get a chance to request one tower over the other, which one would you choose.

Request the Sierra tower with two queens beds and a day bed and you should get a nice large room with a large bathroom.

We are staying at the DLH and requested a DTD view upper room. Not sure if we will get it or not. They didn't mention any additional fee for this when I requested. Could this be because we are staying in a 2 bdroom suite? Does anyone know if they are mainly in the Sierra Tower?

Thanks for all the information. So is Tower room the same as upper resort? Is the Fanstacy Waters show still running and which tower is more condusive to its viewing?

Just my 2 cents since I too just made reservations last week for June at DLH. She asked what view I wanted, POOL or RESORT. From there I "requested" the Sierra Tower and she said she MADE A NOTE on my reservation but that it was a first come first serve policy. I wonder how early we can get there, drop our stuff, and request the Sierra Tower?

I just checked Disneyland.com to find out what it says about resort/pool view rooms. It says "LOWER LEVEL RESORT/POOL VIEW ROOMS: Pool, Downtown Disney District, or California Adventure view rooms from 3rd to 6th floor." So to me it sounds like you could be in any of the 3 towers. I agree it would be best to put in a request ahead of time and get there early if possible to get the tower and view you want. Hope this helps some.
