Which Disney Stores are closing?

Anyone have an accurate list of what stores are closing? TIA!

I know the one near me is closing I'm pretty bummed about that.

Here is a list I found on another site. I can confirm that 6631 Valley Hills Mall, Hickory, NC IS closing. Went by yesterday and the signage was up with varying discounts. 10%-30% off everything. No Checks, Cash and Credit Card only.

I have no confirmation on any other stores on this list or even if this list is complete or accurate. I found it on another site and it matches that the Hickory, NC store is closing. That is all I can confirm.

We are sad to see it go. It is the only reason we go to our local mall.

The one here in Omaha is closing. It is the only one in the state. I was in there on Sat. and they said it would close in 6-7 weeks. They were however handing out cards with the # on them to call and complain.

The one closest to me was on another list, but not this one the pp listed. Hmm.. It's the Simon Crystal Mall in Waterford, CT. Anyone know?

Add Southern Park Mall, Youngstown Ohio. The poor cast members were all crying while the liquidation company man was telling them how to dispose of all the remaining stock, I felt so bad for them.

I would cry if I worked for the Disney Store in my area - which is on the list to close.

I am not a vulture, but will check out the sale tomorrow morning.

i went to the mall today to get a new Princess shirt for smallest DD Disney trip in 2 weeks. there are signs ALL over the place things on clearance and they are closing in july. the ladt told me she wasent sure why but that 2 truckloads of stuff just came in and they will prob be getting more .the first week in july they we be closed for good.. i am heartbroken!! Now i have no reason to go to the mall.. and I cant get my Disney fix .. totally bumed out.. i think we should strike or something.. party poopers!!

Thanks for posting the list...I didn't see the 2 stores near me listed...dare I breath a sigh of relief? I really really feel bad for those of you with stores closing near you. What a bummer...

That list is incomplete. I think that one was one posted by a guy who is in real estate and they are looking for tenants to sublet those spaces.

Valley View Mall in Dallas is closing and so is Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville, TX.

I was at my local mall today, one that is on the list, and they had the signs all over. When I asked if they were closing all she said was that they were liquidating. Not really a straight answer.

I hope this is true! I saw a list a couple of days ago that listed all the Indy area stores closing. Ours in Lafayette is closing. It kind of looked like Simon Mall properties weren't going to have Disney stores, but I hope that is wrong. I'll miss not having one anywhere around me.

I guess my dh wasn't right--I didn't single handedly keep the Disney Store in business!

There is one more in the St. Louis area that is NOT on the list (Crestwood Mall), but it is definitely closing, leaving none in Missouri. She said the only ones she knew of that were staying open within even an outside proximity to St. Louis were 2 in the Chicago area and the one in Oak Park Mall in Kansas city (KS).

I believe she said today that there are about 89 stores closing altogether (but they are still holding out hope that at least one will be re-opened in the St. Louis area in the future).

It looks like the store near me is staying open. yay! At the King of Prussia mall, all of the stores are million dollar stores, so they are usually the last ones to close.

Of course the one at Park City Lancaster is closing - Now that they opened the new "Outlet" store at Rockvale. As if I would drive all the way out there!

I checked the Philly Premier Outlets. One was supposed to open this spring, but it didn't appear on the shops list last weekend. I'm going to go there on Saturday to shop anyways, so I'll need to check it out.

I just read this and we have already had 2 stores close near us and now there are 4 more!!!! I called the store in Novi, MI and she said they are in liquidation already I was just there like a week ago!! I just can't believe it!!!

Well, boo hiss!

The PV Mall store in Phoenix AZ is closing! Not that I've shopped there much since Disney sold it originally. The merchandise was awful!

I'm sure there's one somewhere else in the Phoenix metro area, but I'm not likely to get there any time soon!
