We want to spend most of our time in the Disneyland Park, and maybe some CA.

Which hotel between DH, PP or GCH is the closest to the entrance of the Park?

Thanks

:)

We stayed at PP, and when you cross the street and cut through the GCH the walk is not really that much farther than some of the far rooms at GCH. We loved how close it was. But yes, GCH is the closest. Any of the Disney resort guests can use the CA entrance in the GCH.

1. GCH
2. PPH*
3. DLH*

*For 2 and 3 it can depend on where your DLH room is, but most likely it's further.

Hmm...hard to say how the monorail affects this answer. DLH has a short walk to the DTD monorail entrance and this lets you out inside the park at Tomorrowland. From the monorail station you are not too far away from the Tomorrowland train station which can take you to another part of the park.

Not the front entrance to the park, as is probably meant in your question, but still might affect your hotel choice.

But in the morning the monorail puts you behind the gate crowds since it isn't necessarily on time at opening (and right now not open until 10).

FYI- if you are staying at a Disney property, your room key acts like a monorail fast pass at the DL side. You just go to the exit and you can skip the lines. Great at the end of the day. Unfortunately, it doesn't work this way from DTD.

I have never heard of this! Really? Anyone else done this?
