Which dis'er lives nearest to WDW?

I'm 2 1/2 miles from AKL and I know of a few other DISers who are right around me.

Currently homless I am sleeping on a park bench on Main St USA

My bet would be Ducklite.

Lots of people live closer than I do. We purposely chose to be a little further out so we didn't have the congestion that comes with being close. It was worth driving the extra ten minutes. :)

Being up in the hills I do have a nice view though. Although it's about 20 miles driving to the property, it's only about 12 as the crow flies to the MK. It's hazy out right now, so I have no view, but normally I can see the Epcot ball, the Contemporary, Space Mountain, the Dolphin, the ToT with no problem on the horizon. You can clearly make out the shapes of the structures, and I can see the fireworks from the parks at night. I hear the boom, boom at quarter past the hour (although the hour varies) from Wishes every night. The time tells me if it's thunder or fireworks LOL! On a crystal clear day I can even make out the difference in colors between the Tree of Life and the other foliage at the AK, but I can't see the Tree itself if that makes sense. Just pick out the more vivid hue to locate it.

The view was one of the reasons we bought this lot.

You need to post your picture again! I love that pic of the Epcot ball in the background, which is why I thought you must have lived very close.
