Here is where we will be eating in just a couple of weeks. Rainforest Cafe, LeCellier, Jiko, 50's Prime Time, Chefs de France, and Grand Floridian Cafe. Which ones have desserts that are not to be missed? And which desserts should I skip and go for the old favorites instead? (Such as Dole floats, rice cream and berry tarts in Norway. )

Ohhh - I love Disney Desserts!! I always make sure to save room and try something at each restaurant that I eat at!

At Le Cellier, I always save room for the Creme Brulee - it's half vanilla-bean and half maple creme brulee (I love the maple portion the best!) OR if I'm in more of a chocolatey mood, it's straight to the chocolate "moose" from the kids menu!

At Prime Time Cafe, I enjoyed the Cobbler - it was a perfect end to a family meal! Although, I was also enjoying digging into my friends S'mores - it was a plate of oooey goeey goodness!

At Rainforest Cafe, if there is more than one of you at the table, try out the Volcano!! It's tasty and fun!

Unfortunately, I haven't yet eaten at the other restaurants on your list...but, they're on mine for my next visit!! :Pinkbounc

I need more poeple to post there thoughts on this one. I'm talking notes and I am always looking for a new great dessert to try.

Okay, out of all the desserts I have had at WDW, this one is the best - the No Way Jose sundae at Beaches & Cream:

"A peanut butter and hot fudge delight with chocolate and vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and chocolate morsels, whipped cream and a cherry." :lovestruc :cloud9:

I don't care WHERE I am at WDW, the trip over to B&C for this dessert would be worth the extra effort to get there!! :rotfl:

As for the places you are eating, we have tried:

The flourless chocolate cake at Jiko - which tasted like yummy brownies,

and, the vanilla and maple creme brulee at Le Cellier,

as well as the "chocolate Moose".

Whatever you choose at the restaurants, remember to get a No Way Jose at least once! :teeth:

The only one of those restaurants we've eaten at is 50's, and we love the s'more!

Can adults order that chocolate mousse?

I got the raspberry sorbet...... And it was SPECTACULAR!!!!I was already so full from my dinner, that Iordered it figuring that it would be fairly light (which it was), and I thought I would probably just eat a little bit of it!! Boy, was I wrong on that one!!!! I ate every last bite, even though I was about to burst!!!! And I dream of going back for another.... and of course, the soft serve vanilla/pineapple swirl dole whip as welll!!!!!

They have wonderful creme brulee at Jiko and Chefs de France. The key lime pie at GF Cafe is very good, too.

Here's what I had at Chefs ... ice cream tart something ..

How big is the Volcano at Rainforest? Does anyone have a picture of it? We are going to be 4 adults and 2 kids eating there in Jan. I want to know if I need to order 2 or 3 of those to share on our special night!!!! :teeth:

The Volcano at Rainforest is definitely share-able. Go to rainforestcafe.com for a photo.

The Zebra Domes at Boma (and the other AKL restaurants, FYI), are heavenly! (Mmmmmm, I can taste 'em now.....)

I'd save room for all of them!!!! Haven't had a dessert at a WDW restaurant worth saving room for. ;)

As for the size of the Volcano...this summer we had 3 adults and 8 kids and we shared 2. We didn't each get much, but it was enough after all the food. I'd get two for 4 adults and 2 kids, or one if you're stuffed.

:thanks: for the responses - and especially the pictures. I think I may skip the regular meals and just order one of each dessert ;) I don't think DH will let me get away with that - we'll have to share a meal so that I can enjoy the desserts. I am definitely going to have to schedule a trip to Beaches and Cream - that sundae looks fabulous! Anyone else have any favorites?
