Which Deluxe Resort for 11 yo

Which deluxe is better for 11 yo(s)? This would be during summer month (Aug) so need a kewl pool and something fun to do in the HOT afternoons while we take a break at the resort.

It's hard to narrow down, but since you mentioned a "kewl" pool - the choice would have to be Beach Club! Stormalong Bay can't be beat (and since pool hopping is not allowed, you "have" to be staying at the resort to use the pool). If you are not familiar with it - the pool covers about three acres and has a sand bottom - it's worth looking into! Also, if you are looking to take and extended park break in the afternoon, you are close to the Boardwalk and all the activities it has to offer. While I have a certain affinity for the Poly, both DDs have said this one is their favorite!

Beach Club.... 11 years old + Stormalong bay= FUN FUN FUN!! Its also walking distance to the Boardwalk for some fun and games.

I will also throw Yacht Club out there. Same pool as BC and we had a fantastic experience there with our almost 11 year old.

Beach Club hands down (Or Yacth club is they are booked since it's the same pool) SAB is the best pool on property. We spend all the afternoons at the pool.

I can't believe that I'm already PLANNING for a trip that isn't happening for another 2.5 years!

I absolutely despise the place, but all of my boys preferred the Contemporary at that age. That or All Star Sports.

But if they could have slept on a cot (or the floor) inside of Disney Quest, they'd have considered that the best option...so that tells you how smart they were.
