I'm confused as to which days are EMH for the MK during this May testing program of extra hours. EMH was Sunday and Thursday. Somewhere I read that MK would be Friday morning during the test. Does that mean that MK will open early on Friday INSTEAD of Sunday and Thursday, or in addition to? Also, EMH at MGM is listed as Tuesday. They also say that MGM will be open late on Tuesday. Am I correct in understanding that MGM will then have very extended hours (1 in the morning+3 at night=4) for onsite guests on Tuesday?

This is the link to the official information:
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/resorts/resortOther?id=ResortExtraMagicPage

The parks don't have EMH morning/evening the same day.

The schedule is:

Sun - Epcot (PM)
Mon - Animal Kingdom (AM)
Tue - MGM (PM)
Wed - Epcot (AM) and MK (PM)
Thu - Animal Kingdom (PM)
Fri - MK (AM)
Sat - MGM (AM)

It is my understanding that this schedule replaces the regular schedule during the test period.

I just noticed your trip counter. The test period isn't the entire month of May. It is May 9-22, so you may not have to even worry about the changes to EMH.

Do you know if the old schedual will be back in place after the testing period? Thanks

Ok...I am confused. Here is what I got of the DIS website

"The Extra Magic Hour morning schedule will remain in place. The attractions open in the evening can vary from those running during the morning.

The schedule for the Extra Magic Hour Evenings is:

Sunday - Epcot
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday - Magic Kingdom
Thursday - Animal Kingdom

Fastpass will be available. "

So who is right? Will the morning EE change or not during this test period? Anyone know?

Direct from the Cast member web sight this is the schedule for May 9-22:

Sunday - Epcot (evening)
Monday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (morning)
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios (evening)
Wednesday - Epcot (morning); Magic Kingdom (evening)
Thursday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (evening)
Friday - Magic Kingdom (morning)
Saturday - Disney-MGM Studios (morning)

That means the only morning hours for MK are FRIDAY and MK's night day is Wednesday... The normal Extra Magic Hour days will not apply... this is the list for the test period :)

Also remember that the morning and night time events will have different rides open... Morning rides are the same as they always have been for mornings:
