Which day would you choose, and why?

We are taking our very first trip to Disneyland, and I need some schedule advice. We fly into Vegas on Sunday June 15th. We will be driving to California very early on the morning of Wednesday June 18th, leaving for Vegas Sunday morning to fly out. Would you do Disneyland Wednesday through Friday, or Thursday through Saturday? We only have three day park hoppers, and are going to spend the extra day at Huntington Beach. I am nervous with Thursday being the last grad nite, but we have reservations at BB so Thursday is definitely a Disney day. I worry about Saturday being a busy day at the parks, since it is a weekend. What day would you skip Disney, and why?

I'd choose the Wednesday through Friday. Week days are generally lighter crowd wise. The weekend days are busy.

We have noticed the weekday crowds build as it gets closer to the weekend.
When I can, I plan to arrive on Sunday to see the Fireworks and Fantasmic! We expect the parks to be crowded and mainly focus on things that will not occur on the weekdays.

The other thing about starting on Wednesday, is if you feel you haven't had enough Disney, you can add a day to your hopper and skip the beach. If you decide to add the fourth day to the hoppers, you'll have to do it before the end of the third day.

What ever you decide, I know you'll have a great time.

Thank you for your quick input. I never thought about having the option of adding a fourth day of necessary.

We are excited for our first Disneyland trip.

Thanks!!

For me a beach is a beach..... Sand and water.... So it's not a big deal....

However, Disneyland is another story!!!

It's nice they have the option to add days to hopper tickets. I usually buy a four day hopper with the option to add a fifth day, if the grandkids want another day.

We have tried all of the other theme parks and have decided they aren't the same quality as Disney. They may cost less but we find it isn't the same. I found it amazing when young kids can actually tell the difference.

Have fun

I'd go wed-fri. I'm an ap and go about once a month. With kids in school, it's always the weekend & during the school year that fine, but during the summer, you NEVER want to go on a weekend unless you have to. They even block out all ap's, except premiums, due to crowds on summer weekends. Have fun!

We went a couple of years ago thinking we would would start in the middle of the week and end on a Saturday. We could tell the crowds were larger on Friday and Saturday. We decided then we would not plan a trip to DL with any weekend days.

Thank you all very much for your input. We will go Wednesday to Friday. Thanks again!!!
