My family will be in Orlando June 24-June 30 :cool1: and we're planning only 1 day at IOA this trip. I'm having a hard time deciding which day. Is there a crowd calendar that I've missed, or can any of you pros give me an idea of which day would be least crowded? Thanks!!!

last week of june is hard to say.
school is out and families are on vacation in the parks.

you could try tu-we-th for a lighter crowd.

those days are usually the best for handling lines and crowds but during the summer, anything can change that.

I know this is a question that gets asked all the time, but around the end of July are Tues, Weds, & Thurs still less crowded days?

Our trips will overlap! :) I consulted this crowd calendar, but to be honest we have 4 day park passes and are staying on site so I didn't do an extensive amount of planning like with Disney.

According to this, Sunday the 24th is a green day for IOA and Tues, Wed, Thurs and Sat are yellow days. But, again, I have no idea how realistic this is.

I'd really listen to the experts of this board above! :thumbsup2

In the offseason, these are generally great days to go, as is Sunday. In summertime, I personally don't think there's much difference between any of the seven days of the week.

you are still in the summer family vacation time until the last week of august.

sundays tend to be good days for the parks as families usually travel sunday to sunday.
that leaves the possibility of sunday being a good day.

the tue-wed-thur combination works well for all months except when it comes to summer family vacations, spring break and the week from christmas to new years.

the last week (24-31) of august the onsite hotels rates drop.
park hours are shortened.
that's because the parks do not have crowds in that time period.

when parry hotter came to town, all the touring advice (on which day was best) that was valid prior, didn't always work..........
when a big new attraction opens, that also contributes to larger crowds in a park.
when the newness dies down, you can see some days better than others for park playing. tue-wed-thurs came to be ......

i always suggest to check out the epp costs for dates you are wanting to be in the parks. any date that sells the epp for $59.99 per park, that is an indicator of lots of peeps in the park that day.

epp prices are adjusted frequently and can increase or decrease based on the estimate of crowds.
UO is aware that guests do not want to stand in lines for an hour for a ride.
they sell the epp's so you don't have to.......
