Ok, let me ask the experts:

We are going on the Disney cruise 6/5/03 and will be off the boat on Sunday 6/8/03. Then we are going to WDW for three nights. We only have one park hopper ticket left to use and are also planning to go to Blizzard Beach. Since we will spend Sunday just resting after the cruise, my question is which day would be better for park hopping from MK to Epcot - Monday or Tuesday?

I don't want us rushed in MK with fantastic crowds,LOL, at least no more than usual! The kids (13 and 11) have never seen Epcot and none of us have seen Illuminations. I'm leaning towards Monday but is that a bad day? Any suggestions?

Epcot at the Flower and Garden Show ends by the end of your cruise. The Lovin' Spoonful is playing June 4th-5th. Arlo Guthrie is playing June 6-8 Flower and Garden Show ends that night.

jaletu2000,
It has been my experiences that Tuesday seems a slower day at MK. Neither park is open for EE.

I would answer that question this way. What do you want to achieve that day? What do you want to do at night? Which park opens early or which park is closed later?

Since you have never done Epcot and illuminations, I would spend the night at Epcot, which day does not matter as illuminations is every night.

This link is one that my DW adn I use oover and over when thinking what to do which day. I hope this helps some. I have a feeling no matter what your choice Monday or Tuesday it will be a great time.

Sorry to be missing the Flower and Garden Show but don't think we'll do a park on Sunday. I want to be fresh and rested before we tackle two parks in one day. At least we'll get to see some of the beautiful foliage!

Thanks KevinB for the link. No, we miss EE all the way around - just my luck. As for what we want to accomplish - why to just have a great time of course!:)

I've done my last "commando" Disney. We just want to soak up the magic at MK that morning and then do some of the rides at Epcot for the afternoon. Must see Illuminations this time! Who knows how much longer It will last. Just heard the Osbourne lights might be going away (rumor) and I've never gotten to see them either. Oh well...

So we might try Tuesday. I'd love for it to be quiet and sunny on Main Street just one last time. We might not be getting back for a while.

If you go to MK on Monday, be sure to be there when it opens -- get to the entrance plaza by 8:30 or 8:45. Monday is still a very busy day there even though it's not EE anymore. Tuesday is less crowded, but still, be there at opening time so you can ride your favorites and then be ready to leave when it starts getting really full.
