Which day at which park?

First of all, happy holidays to everyone! Second of all, I'm leaving on Friday for a MUCH needed vacation. My boyfriend and I will be "doing" Universal Orlando for the first time. We're going to just do Orlando stuff on Saturday, then on Sunday we're checking into the HRH for Sunday until Thursday. Which park would you recommend on Sunday, and then Monday? Which should be first, and why? We're going to just go to each for a bit on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please give me your opinions...thanks a lot in advance

I'd say do Universal Studios on Sunday and Islands of Adventure for Monday because right now USF is kinda a let down after visiting IOA. In 1999 we went to IOA when it first opened and noticed that we spent very little time at USF once we had tasted the new park. The great thing about the parks is that they are so close to each other you can park hope back and forth within a matter of minutes.

If you are asking the question what park thinking about crowds then you really don't need to worry about them. The parks should be totally mobbed but with you staying on site you will have Universal Express. With UE they guarantee that you shouldn't have to wait more than 15 min for any of the attractions.

Thanks for the input! I think we have decided to go to the Studios first, and then IOA. We're into coasters and stuff, and would probably enjoy US more if we enjoyed it for what it was, and not trying to compare it to IOA. Again, thanks!
