Which CS at Animal Kingdom?

Flame Tree BBQ is really good. I wish they didn't turn Tusker House into TS, they used to be a great CS place

I used to really love the salmon at Tusker House. Currently I'd say Flame Tree is the best option at AK, but we usually just leave the park for awhile and run over to the Pepper Market at CSR.

I am not sure who is in your group but if you like Asian (Chinese) check out the Yak&Yeti Counter Service. It is very good. The sides are large and the food was really good. I don't know how to just post the review of Y&Y itself but check it out on page 2 of my dining report (link below in my siggie) - Post #26.

I liked Flametree too, but I am not a big barbeque fan so I enjoyed Y&Y for a change of pace.

See, and I *am* a big fan of BBQ, and that's precisely WHY Flametree was a letdown for me (and the rest of my group). We're Southerners, and thus expect a lot from our BBQ, LOL. I'm a fan of lots of different styles (NC, TN, KC, TX, etc - vinegar based sauce, tomato based sauce, dry rubs, IMO they all have their place, LOL), but Flametree . . . meh. Pretty bland from sitting on the steam table, IMO. I don't eat beans, but my parents and dh agree with PP - none of them took more than 1 bite. It was 'okay' for us, nothing more. We went pretty close to when they opened and had no line at all, and got a great table down out of the way by the water (very nice, definitely a highlight to the lunch).

Next time I think I'd like to try Y&Y.

If you find yourself at Flame Tree but aren't really in the mood for BBQ, they have an excellent fruit plate that really is large enough for a meal.

If I recall correctly, the plate had cantalope, honeydew, watermelon, strawberries, pineapple and grapes, plus a delicious honey-yogurt dip. The portion was very large and it was such a refreshing lunch. I'd definitely recommend it!

Oooh! The fruit plate sounds good! I may have to try that!

Pizzafarri. my family and i really like that one. they have a great caesar salad, pasta, meatballs[according to my brother], and pizza.
its really good there.

We ate at the Y & Y CS on our last trip and thought it was great! I would recommend it and plan to go back on our next trip too.

I'm a big fan of the Hot Italian Sandwich at Pizzafari - love the caesar salad and pesto tomatoes that come on it.

I've always said FlameTree here, but on our trip last week we did Y&Y CS, it was spectacular. Highly recommend it.
