Which Credit Cards does Disney except

We're going to use our credit card instead of carrying cash this trip. Does Disney except Discover and can I use this for everything, even snacks?

I have a book that says Visa, MC & Amex are accepted, doesn't mention Discover. It also says theme park vendors and fast food restaurants do NOT take credit cards. Sun Bank in MK gives credit card advances.

Discover is accepted--I used it for my room key charge.

As of our last visit in April, 2004, vendors and counter service restaurants in MK and Epcot were taking room key charges and credit cards.

Counter service has been taking credit cards/resort IDs for a very long time now. Some of the food carts are starting to do the same. Disney takes MC, Visa, Discover, AE, JCB, and the Disney Credit Card (different fom the Disney Visa). We charge everything to our room and it's much easier than traveler's checks.

As was stated Discover is accepted now at "Disney" locations. What I mean is that anything that is owned by Disney accepts Discover, but the outside vendors ("particpants" that lease space) may or may not take Discover. It is alot easier, if you are staying on property to place your CC on your reservation at the hotel and then just charge everything back to your room, then it won't matter what CC you use you would just be using your room key card which is accepted (even through most participants).

Also all counter service locations do take the room card (or credit cards) and most of the food carts are no accepting Credit (and room keys) with the food carts obviously you can ask, but most of them do accept the cards now, they have a machine (it is like a hand held, but on the larger side) that looks almost like a very large palm pilot.

P.S. Sun Trust is no longer the bank in the park it is Bank One now. Just FYI
