which comfort suites is which??

HELP PLEASE!!!

Hotels just shouldn't be allowed to have such similar names!!

I've seen posting for both "Comfort Suites Maingate" and "Comfort Suites Maingate East."

Is this the same hotel? Or are they different hotels?

If they're different, which one is at 7888 West Irlo Bronson Hwy? A Yahoo yellow pages search doesn't show any comfort suites with a "maingate" designation. but it does show the address as west of I-4. yet apparently there is one in "old town"--is this a different hotel? aarghh.. i'm getting confused.

if indeed there are two, is one better than the other?

please help.

The one called Maingate East is much cleaner and brighter. We stayed
there in October and the pool, staff and rooms were consistently welcoming.

OK, so now i'd appreciate confirmation about WHICH ONE is the one called maingate east? making things even more confusing, now there seems to be 3 hotels with similar names on 192!!

1) 4960 W IBMH ---is this called comfort suites maingate east ??? or is this a quality inn & suites eastgate???

2) 7888 W IBMH ---is it called comfort suites maingate ???

3) 9330 W IBMH ---is it called comfort inn maingate west ???

Which one is referred to as maingate EAST? 7888 (which is east of 9330) or 4960 (which is east of I-4)?

Which one is near "old town?"

ok - never mind... after a long time searching around tonight i think i've figured it out.

correct me if i'm wrong please, but in case anyone's interested, this is what i've come up with....

CSME is not even on 192! it's just off 192 at 2775 Florida Plaza Blvd., and it's the one that's near old town.

CSM is the one at 7888 W 192.

CSM is the one that's rated in the unofficial guide. CSME is not in their book, yet seems to receive high ratings on this board. CSM seems to have higher room rates than CSME. amenities appear similar.

Thanks, pilgrimage, for posting on which you thought was nicer. If anyone else has experience with these hotels, I'd appreciate your thoughts. Unfortunately, because the names are so similar, the comments posted in the past for "CSM" sometimes seem to be really talking aobut "CSME." hard to separate the two....

HI , yes the one we liked was right at Old Town and had great
internet rates. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd stay
there again without hesitation.

I have staye at both CSME and CSM in the past 14 months. The Maingate East location is the superior of the two. The rooms are slightly larger, have a better lay-out and the breakfast room is bigger and has a better breakfast selection. The pool areas are almost identical but the Maingate location has more mature landscaping. The big difference is that the East location has interior corridors and the other has exterior corridors. Both are spotlessly clean and the staff is friendly. I would stay at the East location again and again. There are more restaurants and shopping close to the east location.
