Although sitting in a Cinema whilst in Orlando isn't high on my list of things to do, we thought we'd go and see Shrek 3 whilst we're there. Which is the most comfortable Cinema to go to? DTD, City Walk, Pointe Orlando or any others in the area?

For us it has to be a trip to the cinema at DTD they do special tickets where they give discounte prices if you get your snacks etc plus you cansee what film is on at http://www.movietickets.com put in the zip code fl32830 and you will find the info for Pleasure Island click it have a browse at your leisure there's bound to be something good on there:thumbsup2

Only cinema we have used is the one at Universal Citywalk.
Saw Pirates last summer, I think it was $4 each before 12 noon on Sunday morning. We get free parking with our Annual passes so all 3 of us saw it for cost of 1 in UK. It was like a private showing only us and 2 couples.

Make a day of it & go to the cinema in Celebration.
It's a bit 'retro' and usually quiet and not too busy - a bit of old style american living.

We have used the cinemas at DTD and City walk and they are both very nice. Sometimes we use them in an afternoon when a thunder storm is on the horizon. Be prepared though they are air conditioned and can get a bit chilly at times.

Yes DW was frozen all the way thru Pirates at Universal. This August we are leaving her there to watch a film while myself and DS go play in Curious George, she is taking a fleece with her.:lmao:

Vague help...

There are a few places HRC being one, in Universal City walk which have a meal and movie deal. Not sure on details, but my cheapskate Uncle does it, so it may be worth looking at.

Not much help I realise.

Just noticed that theres a Regal Cinema at the Loop, have never visited anyone in info concerning this place?

my DH and I went to DTD cinema, the film was great, but and a big BUT, the american fok in the cinema did nothing but TALK the whole time which I found really annoying. Hope your experience is better!
