Which characters

I assume you mean the Plaza at MK - this is not a character meal. The Crystal Palace, also in MK has Winnie the Pooh and friends for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Garden Grove at the Swan has (according to allears.net) a character breakfast on weekends with pluto and goofy.

Is this info at wdwinfo out of date, it says that it is a character meal. That what I have been looking at in order to finalize our plans, any info will help. I have never been to DW so I am new at this, thanks for the response.

No the Plaza in MK is not a character meal.

It is a good sandwich place! Very good food.

The Plaza has never been a character meal.

Garden Grove is, for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

My favorite character meals are Crystal Palace in MK and Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort. I also like 1900 Park Faire in the Grand Floridian.

Aha! Mystery solved! I was curious so I went to wdwinfo to check it out. You're right, Plaza Inn is a character meal. But its in Disneyland (in California) not Disney World (in Florida).

The source of confusion here is that the MK at WDW has a restaurant with a similar name, the Plaza, which as another posted pointed out, is a very good sandwich place. No characters though. They really should divide that list up more clearly between Disneyland and Disney World, so as not to confuse newcomers.
