Which Characters can be found in DCA?

Hello,

I am a character fanatic and I just love meeting characters in WDW and know most of the spots to find them. But when it comes do Disneyland and California Adventure Park, well.....I know NOTHING. Does anyone have info on where to find the characters at Disneyland and which ones can be found? Also, since we'll be going in December, do the characters wear special xmas outfits like they sometimes do at WDW?

Well, there is usually Minnie and Mickey in vacation clothes by the entrance/Sun fountain. There are lots in the backlot area, including the Incredibles, Cruella DeVille, Aladdin and Jasmine, and most of the Playhouse Disney characters. Bug's Land of course has Flik and Atta hanging around some days, Brother Bear and Koda have a meet and greet after their show in Redwood CC Trail.

We always see the Incredibles and the Monster's Inc characters in Hollywood Backlot. We also see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto a lot in the SUnshine Plaza. Flik and Atta are almost always in Bug's Land.

Since it is the 70th anniversary for Snow White, all those characters hang out at the entrance to the Animation building. Keep checking, but we saw SW, Dopey, the hag, the Queen.

omg thank you for posting this! dd will be thrilled if she sees dopey but she will be terrified if she sees the queen or the witch! if i can prepare her for it she will probably be ok, so i really appreciate hearing that they might be there when we go.

Back in October there was a villain meet & greet in DCA. I saw the Queen of Scots, Cruella and Sir Walter Raleigh.

I've also see Stitch near the Sun Fountain. Try the Animation experience in the Hollywood area; here are some pics of my family:
