Which Character Meal? Help please!

ok after looking at some other messages, it looks like we might enjoy the breakfast at the tusker house more, just kinda always thought of chef mickey's when i went through on the monorail, can't believe what a hard decision this is for me.

I don't have much to help , since I am going thru the same thing an another thread trying to figure out what to keep and xln etc... We have ressie at all you listed except CM... the only one I have ever eaten at is CP, which was great! good luck...

My simple suggestion is to always try to make it to a breakfast character meal. Starts the morning off with everyone (including the CM's) in good spirits.

I tried asking DS6 who he'd like to see at the meal...he said "all of them"! DS4 said Mickey...which is easy enough! They like Pooh ok...DS6 was Eeyore for his 3rd halloween (and pulled it off nicely) DS4 was a Pooh "Bee" at age 1 (Disney store). However...Mickey and Goofy (Donald too) are families favorites. Apparently DS' are not going to be much elp in deciding either.

hope we are not waiting too long to make this decision. i guess when i call they may make it for me, or by the time i decide on one, i'll call and it won't be available. guess i will just keep reading, it's not early entry day for AK the day I want, and we're not early risers anyway. I see this will be your first trip to WDW. WOW! I know you are excited.

I am still undecided on breakfast, have read that goofy appears "sometimes" at CM. VMK was goofy at the AK breakfast, or does someone know if he is always at CM. I need to decide on those 2 and make reservations. Never done a character meal. It will just be for adults for my yikes 50th b-day. I'd appreciate any info on goofy.

Goofy is always at LTT in MK. Food there is like Thanksgiving type food. I went there for my 33rd Bday and they decorated our table with Mickey confetti, brought me out a cupcake with a candle on top and a birthday card signed by all the characters at the restaurant. Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale, and Pluto. I think Pluto was there.

hmmm, i will have to think about that, my DH will eat anything but my DS and I are kinda picky eaters. that's the main reason I was thinking about breakfast, who doesn't eat eggs and bacon and a donut, oh yeah my son he will being filling up on bacon and cereal. waiting until we get CS somewhere for a burger and fries. LOL

Yeah, we are excited....We were at DL in 2006, but this is a whole different experience by far. I made ADRs at 4 different locations ...just in case. Chef Mickeys is not really available for the times I want(that probably cut that one out). I'd recommend you do that soon...I didn't know that it was such a big deal at WDW to do this!!! I do know that I surely won't be doing much more than 2 character meals. The rest of my group doesn't see the need in ts restaurants in the parks. I figure one meal a day in the parks should be enough. Gotta save the $ for better things, you know? (we have a kitchen for most breakfast and snacks, etc.) Like souvenirs 'cause I'm surely not cooking!!
