I would do either Liberty Tree Tavern or Garden Grill for dinner. The food is brought to the table rather than your having to go get it at a buffet (and chance missing a character). I think there is better character interaction at those dinners (as compared to Chef Mickey's). We liked the food at Garden Grill. While not fancy, it was tasty. The atmosphere is fun. We like the atmosphere at LTT alot -- old fashioned, colonial, etc. We don't care for the food as much at LTT. In any event, although many people love Chef Mickey's, we went there for breakfast and found it incredibly noisy and chaotic. We try to avoid it. Others, I know, disagree.
We're trying the ice cream social this year for the first time so I can't comment yet on that. The attraction for us is an inexpensive way to have some character interaction without the expense of a meal we may not like. Then we'll go some place we really like for dinner.
