On our last trip we ate 2 character breakfasts - Ohana (for Stitch for my daughter) and Cape May Cafe. We enjoyed both but want to try something different this time around. We will probably only do 2 as we want to eat breakfast at Boma again, also(so good!!). The kids will be 22 and 14 but still enjoy meeting the characters. We are thinking about Trattoria Al Forno (staying at BWV) and Tusker House. How are these 2 and/or what others would you recommend? Probably won't do Chef Mickey as I've heard it is notorious for the the food being blah. Thanks!

Tusker House or Garden Grill for your fur friends.

Trattoria al Forno is a good choice, as the prices are pretty rare, and the food is supposed to be good.

Wild card would be 1900 Park Fare, but since you're at BWV I'd go with one in-park (thus, TH or GG) and Trattoria.

I also recommend Tusker House, Garden Grill, and 1900 Park Fare.

I haven't yet been to Trattoria al Forno, so I can't meaningfully comment on that one.

We have done Tusker house many times and love it. We usually get late breakfast reservation so we can enjoy both breakfast and lunch options.

Trattoria al forno was good. I got an egg dish that was supposed to come with sauce and just asked for it without sauce. There was a ton of food. The pastries were just ok. The characters were awesome. It was really neat to meet Flynn and Eric. They were fun and cute with the kids (DD 9 and DS 6). Rapunzel and Ariel were nice too, but we have met Ariel many times.

We also love Crystal Palace. We had lunch there last time.

After doing several breakfasts last year, my DH's winner was Akershus. We don't have any kids, so we weren't booked for the princesses, we just needed a breakfast in Epcot. The "appetizer" buffet was really good and the plate of hot food was so good. DH still talks about those cheesy potatoes. Akershus is the only restaurant he has requested a repeat of for our November trip.

Yet another vote for Tusker House with a small caveat. Last trip we booked the breakfast in the last 30 minutes of breakfast, There was almost no one there and we got incredible interaction with the characters. Goofy sat down at our table and pretended to eat. My then 4 year old god daughter about died of joy. All of the characters were spending a ton of time with the few tables that were occupied.

I went to Garden Grill and Tusker house this past April. Both were very good in regards to the food and the character interaction. If anyone has a sweet tooth, they will love the cinnamon rolls at Garden Grill.

We loved Akershus for breakfast! We have 3 kids and so Disney princesses were a must. We had done Cinderella's Royal Table the year before and liked it but we weren't wowed. The princess interaction was just as good at Akershus and the overall price was cheaper. Also, the mix of buffet and family style breakfast foods was very good and perfect for kids who do not want to wait for their food. We have it planned for our upcoming June trip.

We love 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and dinner. The character interactions have been the best, and we love the food there - especially the strawberry soup.
I like the breakfast food at Crystal Palace, too and the character interaction is fun.
