which character breakfast???

hi just wanting some opinions of which character breakfast is best.....i called disney and they have chef mickeys, ohana, and cape may cafe availabe. is one better than the others? please offer your opinions so i can call back and reserve.....

In total conrast, we LOVED Donald's Breakfastosaurus at the Animal Kingdom. Great food, hot and plentiful, great choice, great character interaction. We took the WDW bus to get there for 7.40am (ADR was at 8am) we wiated outside and it was really peaceful with gorgeous music playing. I highly recommend it.

We haven't done Cape May, but have done Chef Mickey and Ohana. Chef Mickey is very loud and makes it hard to keep your child's attention on the breakfast. It's a buffet so it's difficult at times to serve several children and keep everyone going in the right direction. All that aside, it is WONDERFUL food (all you can eat) and a great atmosphere - lots of activity and music. Ohana is quieter, still populated with characters and fun, but much more relaxed. The food there is excellent and served table style, again all you care to eat. It is simply more laid back, as is typical of everything Polynesian. If I had to choose one right now, it would be a tough decision. It's a choice of one great breakfast vs. another!

Well the only one we have done is 'Ohana and it was very nice. We went on a non-park day and it was a wonderful way to start the morning. The character interaction was good and the food was hot and tasty.

thanks everyone-it is hard to decide...and the only times availabe at chef mickeys and ohana are 11:20 and 11:10 at both places. will we be rushed going so late in the morning? will the food still be any good? going later appeals to me anyway because we can sleep in and we aren't going to mnsshp that evening. it really will be more of a lunch than breakfast but are worried we might be rushed, or food not being put out anymore...anyone know?

WE have not had breakfast at Ohanas, so I can't comment about that. We have had breakfast at Both CM and Cape May and the adults prefer Cape May as it is a quieter atmosphere and we think the food is better. The kids prefer Chef Mickeys. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three. We did a late breakfast last month at Cape May and were full until dinner.
