Which Character Breakfast??

We are staying at the SWAN from 6/27 to 7/3. Our flight departs MCO in the afternoon. Since we will not be going to the parks on our final day, I was thinking of late morning Character Breakfast.

Any suggestions? I've heard Chef Mickey's was pretty cool however I've also heard that it is difficult to resort hop.

We LOVE Chef Mickey's and always do that on our last day. If not, how about Crystal Palace... that's our all time favorite (Chef Mickey's is a very close second).

There is a very nice character breakfast at the Cape May and it is within walking distance to the Swan. It is our favorite character meal and is less crowded than the ones in or near the MK. I believe Minnie, Pluto Goofy and Chip or Dale are there dressed in old fashioned beach attire.

Since you are at the Swan ... how about the Character Breakfast at the Beach Club? The Cape May Buffet character breakfast. I really enjoy that one and it is very close for you. You can just take a leisurely stroll over from the Swan or take the boat. When I went the characters were Minnie, Goofy, Chip, and Dale.

If you have a car, I also recommend the Grand Floridian 1900 Park Fare. But Chef Mickey's is good if you want to end your trip an a "rousing" note!

We have done Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace and overall, we liked CP much better. Food, service, character interaction and atmosphere (being right in MK) was better! But both were positive experiences.

If you really want Chef Mickey's, take the bus to the MK from the Swan, then walk or ride the monorail to the Contemporary (5 min walk).

I've heard great things about Cape May but haven't done that one yet.

The Swan also has a character breakfast on certain days. It's Pluto, Goofy and the Chipmunks if I remember correctly. The nice thing about this one was you could order off the menu or from the buffet - which was great since my BF hates buffets.
