I have 3 boys, when we travel they will be 11, 8 and 2. I already want to have a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I want to do another one but not really sure of which one to do. When I was checking out some of what is served I was looking at Ohana's and it didn't look like there was much of a choice in comparison to what is listed for Chef Mickey's. Another choice I guess would be Crystal Palace, but not really sure what they serve. Basically what I am looking for is where can I get more varieties of foods for breakfast like Chef Mickey's without going there twice. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

We enjoy Crystal Palace. We have eaten there for breakfast during each of our last three trips and have an ADR there on our first full day this December. There are normally 7 - 8 people in our party (3 kids) and everybody enjoyed their meal. We also went to Chef Mickey's last year for breakfast and found the food and selection comparable to Crystal Palace.

Hey there,

The Crystal Palace is a buffet style place like Chef Mickey's so they will have a good variety of traditional breakfast items.

For three boys I would recommend considering Donald's Breakfastosaurus in DinoLand of Disney's Animal Kingdom. Mickey and Donald usually visit there and it is dinosaur themed. It is buffet as well so they will have all kinds of things. Breakfast is reletively similar around WDW wherever you go?

Would you consider a character dinner? You may get the variety you're looking for that way.

I agree with Crystal Palace...because of all the rave reviews we are going with our 2 DNieces at 8:05am....I am excited about being the first one in the park so we can get great pictures without a crowd behind us....also we can hit Toon Town and Fantasyland first thing.

We were going to do the DOnald thing at AK but there were too many negative reviews we decided to skip it.....

I've done both CP & Donalds. The food is MUCH better at CP. CP has an omlet station where they will they will also cook an egg any style. My kids prefer a fried egg to scrambled. CP also has something they call a cinnamon french toast but its more like deep fried dough. It is worth the price of the meal.

You may also consider Boma. The food for breakfast is great and then you can explore AKL.

The food at CP is very good. I my honest opinion, I remember it being better than Chef Mickey's. We're doing the breakfast w/Lilo and Stitch on this trip for the first time so I can't make a comment yet there! I would recommend CP!

Cape May was outstanding.

My little brother is 8 and his favorite character breakfast is Donalds breakfastosaurus at Animal Kingdom. We make sure that we have at least one meal there on every trip. Crystal Palace is also very good, but for your boys I would recommend Breakfastosaurus at Animal Kingdom. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it.

Of the Character breakfast we have had, my family enjoyed Crystal Palace the most. Htey have a great selection of traditional breakfast items and the food was very good. The atmosphere is great and all of the chracters came by our table twice before we finished. Plus we really like the Pooh characters!!

For our two week vacation starting this Sat we have booked:

Chef Mickey brkfst (Mickey gang)
Crystal Palace brkfst (Pooh gang)
O'Hana brkfst (Stitch)
Cape May brkfst (DH joins us and we'll be at BCV)

and Boma brkfst (while staying at AKL)
