Which carriage ride?

Which do you recommend: The carriage ride at POR or the one at WL/FtW, and why? DD is trying to decide which ride to book with her husband for their anniversary/her 30th birthday.

Which do you recommend: The carriage ride at POR or the one at WL/FtW, and why? DD is trying to decide which ride to book with her husband for their anniversary/her 30th birthday.

I've never done the FtW one, but my husband and I did the POR one for our anniversary a few years ago and it was wonderful. Soooo peaceful riding all along the river through both PO resorts, and very romantic! Then when we got back we went in and enjoyed beignets and a drink in POFQ. Loved it!!

POR is more romantic, I think. But, if they're going at Halloween or Christmas time, the Fort usually has awesome decorations from the campers.

I've done both and the PO one is quaint and quiet. The Fort one is longer and more interesting visually during the holidays. I did it around Halloween, I think it was the week before. So many displays and decorations. It was way more fun to look around. But if it wasn't a holiday I think I would prefer PO mostly because of the river and the natural landscaping/architecture of the resort.
