Hi! I'll be making my ADR's in a few weeks for my August trip
Now I know that I don't need a credit card for most of them BUT I understand I will need To pay in advance for breakfast in the castle?? Is this correct and also The disney girl tea party needs to be paid in advance I think.

Oh...and Iam hoping to book a wishes cruise also but I think thats at 90 days.

So my question is ...What card can I use to make my bookings?? I have a visa electon debit card whick I used to book my hotel with disney so does this mean they will take that for the other bookings?

Has anyone here used a visa debit to secure their ADR's? :cheer2:

Also just to add...when I booked my package, hotel-tickets-dining. I Rang the number on the uk disney site BUT i was put thru to an american in florida and he had no problem at all taking my visa electron.

I think you'll be fine using your Visa debit card - but you'll be charged a foreign currency transaction fee of about 2.75% I think - sometimes this is a separate charge, sometimes it's built into the exchange rate you get. You can avoid this if you have a Nationwide Visa or debit card, but I appreciate that's not much help if you haven't.

I think you just pay a deposit for your advance bookings - as far as I recall, it's $10 per adult, and $5 per child, and you forfeit this if you don't show or cancel outside the specified time. You pay the remainder the bill after the meal. Hope that helps!

I have used my Visa Debit card to pay for CRT before - though mine isn't an electron :confused3 so not sure how helpful my experience is.

I use a VISA debit card, but if they ask if it is a debit or credit card you have to say credit, as it is the credit company that authorises the transactions over there. Chances are they will not ask.

I have the Nationwide Credit Card and I use it solely for when I am abroad. It gives excellent exchange rates and no "added extras" like other cards. :thumbsup2
