I have had a Canon 30D for about six years. I had to send it in for service about three years ago and it was $215 to fix it. While it was at Canon getting repaired I went ahead and bought a Canon 5D Mark II (because of course it went out the week before my youngest daughter's first birthday). I had been wanting to go full frame for quite a while so I did. My 30D has worked great for the last few years but started showing 'Error 99' randomly. I did all of the troubleshooting I could and finally sent it back in to Canon last week. The estimate this time is $245. So I'm trying to figure out if I should throw more money at it and hope it works for a few more years or go ahead and just buy a new one. We are going to DW in November and I don't want to drag my heavy 5DMIi around everywhere. I'm considering the 60D, T3i, or the T4i. I'm wanting to stick with Canon so all of my zooms and primes will still work. Thoughts???
