I got mine with the 18-55 lens and the Speedlite 90EX Flash for $420.00 including Shipping from B&H Photo.
I just went out and snapped a few pics with it so I'm navigating image shack at the moment.
ETA: The zoom lens has a very good IS system, and the camera performs very well at very high ISO. I have clear pics taken by hand at 1/2 second shutter speed, which blew my ever-lovin' mind.
That said, the canon is cheap because they took such a hit to their rep coming out with a really horrible AF problem. Nearly every review said the same thing, great pictures, great video, a little too small in the hand, and crap AF performance.
There was a firmware upgrade to improve the AF issue. Make sure you have the latest one. Or maybe you bought it and it already had the latest firmware installed.
I'm 4 ft 10 in and weigh 90 lbs. After a while my dslr starts to hurt my shoulders. I should also mention I have rheumatoid arthritis so that doesnt help either.
I'm 4' 11 and have RA also. The secret for me is being able to shift how I carry my camera when I need to with a good strap. It makes a world of difference. I love the Crumpler Industry Disgrace and many are big fans of the Black Rapid straps. I also rarely carry my camera in a bag. I have a lens bag that I wear cross body. And again, I can shift it around if I need to change where the weight is bearing down.

Yeh, mine came with the newest firmware; and reviews given it since the new firmware have been pretty good.
I put an image shack gallery that includes some pics of the camera in my hand to get a sense of the size. Here
I don't know how to make it display in full resolution except by linking a pic directly so you can see a nice (if I do say so) shot of a flower with a bee here: http://imageshack.com/a/img707/8779/bonp.jpg
The EOS M is a Rebel T4i on the inside. 18MP, DIGIC 5 image processor, native 12,800 ISO expands to twice this. The M has a metal body. It shoots 1080p video.
The T3 doesn't even have a dust cleaning function. I won't pretend that the little camera is a DSL replacement, but a better comparison would be something like a Nikon D3100 or even my old Nikon D80 ... or ... or a Canon T4i (sorry, I'm new to canon's and don't have much frame of reference there).
Plus, with the pancake lens this thing will fit in a vest pocket.
DXO rates the T3 sensor at 62, and the EOS M sensor a bit better at 65
Spec wise, the T3 has a max ISO 6400, while the M can shoot at ISO 12,800
From what I can tell, the EOS M has a useable video mode..the T3 only does 720 with no autofocus.
If you want a DSLr, The better T3i sensor gets the same 65 score.
From what I'm reading, the T4 (or T4i?)was a leap forward for video, letting the camera auto focus during recording. I'm building up a serious man-crush for the guy over at DigitalRev and that was one of the things that actually impressed him about the M.
The one serious downside for a trip to Disney is the LCD (which is really quite good) is a bit rough to use in the direct sun. I'm looking into one of those lcd hoods.
