So I booked a standard room with 2 queen beds for this week 10/13-10/16~! :cool1: But I am wondering which building I should request- or if I can even request a building.. :confused3 Is one building better than the other to stay in? TIA!

A standard room with 2 queen beds will be in building 1, freeway side. A premium room with 2 queen beds will be a higher cost, also in building 1, but "Disney view" side. A deluxe room with 2 queen beds will cost more than a standard but less than a premium and be in building 2 overlooking the pool area. We generally choose this. Buildings 3-6 are 2-story buildings with rooms with 2 double beds and usually cost the same as the standard 2 queen rooms.

Longtimedisneylurker is correct on room categories and buildings. Just wanted to add that if you go to hojoanaheim.com and look around their website, you will find lots of useful information. They have videos that show every room category, which building they are in and details about the room.:woohoo:

The good part about paying a little extra and getting a premium Disney view room in Bldg 1 is that you can sit on your balcony and watch the fireworks on those nights when you just cant face dragging your sorry self back into the park!
