We are staying at the Wyndham Palms Resort in early March and I have heard that there are newer buildings and possibly a new pool? If I am going to call and request a particular building, can anyone tell me which numbers are newer? Is there a map of the grounds anywhere? We will have a 2 bedroom unit if that makes any difference. Thanks!

we toured there last year, and saw the construction for the new pool, and a couple of new buildings.

It's a really nice resort, golf club and course looks fabulous:)

The pool area that was complete was a short stroll from most of the "older" buildings, complete with restaurant area, bar and activities area.

The timeshare pitch - if you go- is very high pressure. If you really like it, come home and buy resale, and save yourself some money!!:teeth:

:sunny:

We just sold our Timeshare because we are now like to rent pool homes. We purchased 2 yrs ago and believe me the whole resort is nice. It is just a matter of if you want to be in a particular spot. We stayed near the golfcourse on the bottom floor so that the kids could have a space to play while I read on the porch or just sat out there. Like I said all of the units a have the leather sofas, big screened T.V's and jacuzzi's. We loved it and the only reason why we sold is because we just like the fill of a pool home and we did not buy a flex week. Have fun :goodvibes

:Pinkbounc giving this a little bump..........I'll be staying in late April (we've traded our week through II to get a 3 bedroom here) and had the same question. There will be 3 little boys under 5 years old in our party. Any location suggestions for us? Thanks!!

Buildings 18 thru 21 are near the zero entry pool...buildings 22 thru 30 are near the new pool w/ waterslide. I have a very good map that I sent to bkaz but I can't figure out how to post it so it's large enough to be able to make out the building #'s. :confused3

Well, here's the map that I scanned but I can't figure out how to make it any bigger - photobucket only gives me the option for making it smaller. The 3 buildings farthest to the right are bldgs 19 thru 21...18 is on the opposite side with the zero entry pool in between. The 5 bldgs on the lower part of the map are 26 thru 30 (the 4 bldgs opposite of them are 22 thru 25) - the new pool is between 29 and 30 (you can barely make out where it says "pool" w/ an arrow pointing down) but the pool is within easy walking distance from bldgs 22 thru 30. The 4 bldgs to the far left of the map (10 thru 13) are the oldest units. Sorry the map is so small but hopefully my building descriptions make SOME sense!! :confused3

I'd be happy to e-mail the map to anyone who wants to be able to view it full size.
