Okay, gang, I'm finally going to the Poly! What building should I request (garden view)? Thanks! ( Looking for beauty over concenience, but both would be good!)

We booked a standard view last fall. We were on third floor of Tokelau with a gorgeous view of the pool and landscaping, but just far enough from pool (quiet pool) so that we were not bothered by noise. Yes, even the quiet pool can be noisy.

We really loved Tokelau because it was a short walk to everything--the beach, the Great Ceremonial House, the Arcade, and not too bad to the Transportation and Ticket Center.

I hope you love the Poly as much as we did.

Just stayed there in November and you're going to love it there!!!! I would recommend room 1913 in the Tokelau building. It's next to the quiet pool, a quick walk to the main pool, building & TTC. The view from this room is amazing. It's a "garden" view, but you overlook the lagoon & the Grand Floridian and is just steps from the beach.

Another vote for Tokelau!

We were lucky enough to be one room from the end of the building.....had almost a perfect view of the lagoon!

We will be at the Poly on June 13th for 11 glorious days. My question about this building is this....We will be travelling with a 1yr old son who will need to take naps in the afternoon. If we request a room in this building with the Hawaii building under construction will there be a lot of noise there during the day?? I hear such nice things about this building but am worried about any hammering or pounding during the day that would wake him up. We really need him to get his naps in for the hope of great evenings. If you experts think Tokelau is not a good pick for this reason where should we request???

Thanks in advance:)

Kathy

A vote for Roratonga! Right next to Great Ceremonial House, close to Volcano Pool and Captain Cook's. At the other end of the building is the Neverland Club, laundry, and a quiet pool. We had a first floor room with a nice patio, where we saw the monorail zip by. It was really nice!

How about Samoa?? I requested this building since it is now non-smoking... any body have any thoughts on this building...thanks..amy

Oh man!
I'm going June 14th.
And the poly (garden view too)

I have NO idea what to request!

I KNOW I want a 2nd or higher floor. I'm going to request that

but building wise. everyone has their own choices! I dont want to pick the wrong one!

We were in Fiji, 3rd floor, on the marina side. It's was awesome!!! We could see the GCH, marina, Volcano, CR, lagoon, and EWP all from our balcony. And it was garden view. :) It was very close to the GCH, we ran in the rain one night and didn't even get wet it's so close. :)

Have a great trip! :)

Just a quick note. Since Somoa became a non-smoking building, many people are requesting it. It is full almost everyday. So be prepared with a second choice, because not everyone will be able to get this building.

Has anyone stayed at Tahit LV? I am trying to decide if I should request a ground floor or higher! There may be smoking rooms on the 1st floor when Tahiti becomes the concierge bldg. and I want to be as far from the smoke as possible!
