Hello

l'm trying to book a buffet breakfast for my stay in April, could anyone please offer me some advise on which is the best breakfast buffet. We've been to Donalds Restaurantosaurus so fancy somewhere different this time, we're staying at SSR

Thanks :goodvibes

Only breakfast buffet I've experienced is the one at Cape May. Goofy, Minnie, Chip & Dale were cute...food was pretty bad.

I was thinking more along the lines of Chef Mickey's next time? Anyone?

I highly recommend Crystal Palace @ MK. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. Characters plenty, bright, airy and what better way to get into MK early??

Breakfast buffets are my favorite thing. We have been to chef mickeys, crystal palace and CRT. I think chef mickeys is my favorite. You will find different characters at each of these places, for instance, chef mickeys obviously has mickey and the gang. Crystal palace has pooh and friends and the castle has the princesses. The food I thought was equally good at all of these places however the castle is a plated breakfast( at least it was when we were there in 2001) vs. a true buffet where you serve yourself. Its a tough choice but most likely you'll enjoy any place you go!! Happy eating!!

My family's favorite breakfast buffet is at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Mary Poppins is in the lobby and Alice and the Mad Hatter are usually there. A couple of times Burt was there. The last time we were there was in 2002 and they had an omlette station that was terrific!!! Well that is my 2 cents.

We have only had the character breakfast at Chef Mickey's, and it was wonderful. The party atmosphere was wild, and there was a great group of characters (Mickey, Minnie Goofy, Chip-n-Dale). The food was very good both times, and we all had a terrific time. I have read that some of the other character breakfasts are less chaotic and give you more time with the characters, but it was not a problem at all for us at Chef Mickey's. I think you'll have a big time wherever you go. Good luck!

We like 1900 Park fare and Chef Mickey's. The food is about the same but the characters are different.

We really enjoyed Crystal Palace. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was nice. Service wasn't that great, but I suppose that's standard at a buffet. We ate here at 10:30 at the last breakfast seating and the breakfast food was still very fresh and restocked while we ate. Of course the characters are a draw here as well.

We had great service at Trails End too, but that may be a little too off the beaten path for you. There's no characters either, but plenty of atmosphere!

Chef Mickey's is our favorite Character Breakfast & Breakfast all around. It is a great buffet!

I would suggest the CRYSTAL PALACE if you want one in a theme park OR Chef Mickey's if you are looking outside the parks either one is AWESOME

Character breakfast at Cape May - disappointed with the character interaction and the food.

Breakfast in the castle - have to do it at least once. Our DD was 4 and our DS was 7. Son was not at all interested ... until Cinderella planted a big kiss on his cheek. He didn't wash it off all day. Food wasn't that great but the character interaction was.

Crystal Palace breakfast - buffet was awesome, the place is really beautiful and interaction was great.

oh..Park Fare is great as well, a bit different on food - and definitely interesting characters.

Normally we do Trails End, since it's less expensive and the food is great. Not as many choices, but very yummy!

Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary was fabulous. Large selection of foods at the buffet. Lots of healthy selections, lots of sweet treats, and plenty for vegetarians like me. Their cereal selections even included proper granola and a wonderful trail mix too.

We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip n Dale, and they all came up to us to say hello.

And they serve Mickey-shaped waffles which are not available at some of the other buffets. :earsboy:
