Okay, we are trying to pick 3 mornings for a nice sit-down (preferably) character breakfasts. We would like to do CRT, but I am willing to skip it and see Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare. So which breakfast should we choose and why? If it is not in my poll, please tell me more about it and why we should do it!!!! TIA!!!!

I voted for Chef Mickeys! It is my ds's favorite! We do it most evry trip!:cool1:

I voted for Donalds. I liked the juice there- yummy! With regard to food, I liked Crystal Palace (Pooh's b-fast lasagna), Tusker house, and Chef Mickey's equally. I wasn't as fond of Hollywood and Vine or Ohana. As far as characters go, they were all about the same for us. The only reason one set of characters might be better than another would be that my kids liked them better (not that we spent more time or had better interaction).

CP is a do not miss for us. We try to have breakfast there and Boma's twice each trip.

Crystal Palace has my vote for best character breakfast, hands down! Of course, I've never done princess meals (all boys) and the Tusker house Donald one is new (trying it in Sept! :goodvibes ) But for my money, you can't go wrong with CP.

Chef Mickey's was fun for the pictures, and the characters, but the food was terrible - with little variety IMO.

Crystal Palace dinner is amazing too!

Crystal Palace hands down for us. Love the puffed french toast and, of course, Pooh and friends. We, too, have never done CRT--we have boys who had no desire to eat in the castle. We like Chef Mickey's a lot, have never done Donald or Cape May Cafe (although we are doing Cape May this year). We have never done H&V at the Studios for breakfast--we've done it twice for dinner and will never go there again--horrible.

I really enjoyed Akershus and Ohana with Lilo and Stich, they were both served family style which was really nice, no having to get up and help yourself and they both had really good food.

One more vote for Chef Mickey's! What a better way to start your day than with Mickey and friends, a great buffet, watching the monorail go by overhead, and then during the "celebration" looking up towards the rooms and seeing all of the people from mousekeeping waving towels just like you waving your napkin. VERY VERY Magical Experience!! Then MK is just a quick monorail ride, or short walk away, and Epcot is on the mono too, after the transfer that is...

Two of our favorites for breakfast are Chef Mickey's and Cape May ::yes::. Chef Mickey's is great because you get your picture taken and there's a bit more action :goodvibes. But if you're looking for a character breakfast that's a little quieter, Cape May would be my vote :thumbsup2.

The one I would most definitely recommend is the CRT breakfast. It was one of our FAV breakfast while @ Disney. Just the whole atmosphere from the time you walk in, is just PURE MAGIC. The 1900 Park Fare we did for dinner on our arrival night and it was WONDERFUL too and it was great seeing Cinderella with Prince Charming, but you just can't beat eating in the castle and being surrounded by all the other princesses. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! It is family style brought to your table. You have juice, coffee, tea, eggs, crispy bacon, sausage links, potatoes, fruit, pastries, delicious puffed french toast stuffed with cream cheese and blueberries with sauce over it. Just YUMMMMMMMMMMMMY!!! You walk in and the minute you do, you are immersed into a fantasy princess world. You get your picture with Cinderella downstairs and then you walk up the winding staircase to the main part and are seated. They introduce the princesses every so often as people are coming and going and then they make the rounds to your tables to sign autographs and for pictures. They deliver you picture that you had taken with Cinderella during your meal. They are very nice pictures. GREAT KEEPSAKE. They give every child a wishing star and they have a wishing ceremony where the kids close their eyes and wave their wands or swords which are given too and make their wish. It is really "SPECIAL" The stained glass windows and again the whole ambience makes it my 1st CHOICE for breakfast and the fact that the princess interaction and the food is great is another bonus. The 1900 Park Fare is WONDERFUL too and will remain a tradition for our family on our arrival night but it doesn't have the same ambience as the castle does and it is for dinner, not breakast

Just so you know, CINDERELLA is not at the 1900 Park Fare for breakast, ONLY dinner at Cinderella's Gala Feast. The breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is Alice in Wonderland, The Mad Hatter, Pooh, Tigger and Mary Poppins. We did that breakfast too and it was very good too :)

CapeMC was great. great food and great interaction.:thumbsup2

Of the bunch that you have listed, my choices would be Donald's Safari Breakfast first, followed by 1900 Park Fare, Crystal Palace, and then the Playhouse Disney meal over at DHS.

I am always for any meal that gets you into a park early, so Donald's is a great way to get going on your AK day. 1900 Park Fare is perfect for princesses without the huge hit to the wallet. And your little guy deserves equal time too, so why not to do the Playhouse Disney meal and get an early jump on your DHS day or better yet, CP and get your day going at MK?

Happy planning!

I've been to both the Palace and Chef Mickey's for an early breakfast, and enjoyed them both with children and grandchildren.

But I would recommend either the Crystal Palace or the Tusker House, depending upon which park y'all would rather enter early. (With my grandchildren it would be the Magic Kingdom hands down.)

For my upcoming solo trip in November I have made breakfast ADRs for breakfast at the Crystal Palace and the Tusker House. (Four mornings: two at each restaurant.) So, I'll have a better idea of which is perferable after this trip.:)

Four of the places listed are at parks so you'd have to go to that particular park so that would also mean planning the whole day at that park.

I like Cape May Cafe and also Chef Mickey's. Chef Mickey's is fun, but loud and we always feel rushed. Cape May is more laid back and we don't feel rushed there, but no napkin swirling there.
