Which breakfast place is similar to the Dinosaurus

About the only times we went out for breakfast was to Cinderella's Castle and Dinosaurus....Our grandchildren loved eating at Dinosaurus...and asked to eat there again when we go...I told them it was closed...and they were disappointed...Are there other places that had the similar menu?

There is Donald's Breakfast Safri at Animal Kingdom.
There is a new restaurant opening in the fall at DownTown Disney called T-Rex.

Donald's safari breakfast is at Tusker House in AK, it is a character breakfast very similar to the other one, but in a much nicer (imo) setting.

There should be tons of other places that offer a similar menu. It was just basic breakfast food right (from what I remember). I think most of the character breakfasts have similar foods. Some I have booked (my kids LOVE breakfast best!) that seem to have similar foods on their menu are Crystal Palace (winnie the pooh characters), Chef Mickey's, Ohana (lilo and stitch characters), and the princess storybook breakfast, I would think many others would all serve basic breakfast foods too.

Yes, Tusker in the AK serves a breakfast buffet...The food is set up in stations...There is a large selection of food...The food is very good...Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy are the "regular" characters..They visit your table in their safari costumes and come around for a big, lively parade every 45 minutes or so...We like the African themed atmosphere....Servers are great....But the tables are very close together and the place is very loud...Just be prepared for a high noise level....Great place to eat on an AK day...We always book for the 8:05, eat, then go right over to the safari...Our boys love that morning!!!!

Chef Mickey at the CR for breakfast also has that large selection of food with the fun atmosphere...Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, Pluto and Donald are the regulars there....Kids and adults alike love this place for the food and atmosphere...You may want to book an early ADR on a MK day....

Cape May Cafe at the BC also has a nice buffet...Very large selection and the food is very good...Minnie, Goofy, Chip/Dale come around in their beach clothes...The atmosphere is very calm and quiet compared to the others...This is a good one to go to on the morning of DSH or Epcot because you can walk or boat over to either park when you are done eating.

The T-Rex place in DTD likely will not be open in the fall as first thought...It is looing more like the end of the year now...And I don't think that they will have breakfast and it will not be a buffet...They will have lunch and dinner (like the Rainforest Cafe in DTD)...They likely will not take the dining plan and there is no word when they will begin to take ADR...So you should not plan for it...It will be a nice treat if it is open.
