Which Attractions Need Retirement, Refurb...

I don't think that the Swiss Family treehouse should be removed, however they should put an Emergency Escape Slide at the top for people who can't face another 10 scenes of rickety bedroom sets and fake fruit bowls. Honestly, just for climbing to the top of that monstrosity you deserve to be greeted by Walt Disney himself *dressed* in a Mickey Mouse costume. That may constitute blasphemy on this board but we all know it to be true.

Told you I felt a connection to you Spiff ;) -I've never done SFT on 6 visits to WDW/DL and now I don't think I ever will.Peter pan could do with tidying up a bit!

I have heard rumors here and there about a permanent closing of CoP...all it needs is a little bit of TLC :teeth: (and a refurb, of course!)

They definitely need to leave the Magic Carpets! Supply and demand alone requires this since the line for Dumbo is usually two hours long. Plus it fits the theme of Adventureland well.
I think we are all in agreement on Stitch. Anyone dissent? No? I thought not.
Jungle Cruise and CoP could definitely do with some updating, but they are too important to WDW history to shut them down.
As for the Swiss Family Treehouse, I like it. The line is always moving, it's a good way to kill five minutes and my son (who is 6) just saw the movie for the first time and is very excited to go back and see the Treehouse next week.
With the upgrade of PoC, it's nice to know that they are at least making an effort to improve existing attractions and not only concentrate on new ones. Don't get me wrong, I love the new rides and shows, but a rising tide raises all boats and it would be no good to have some shiny new ride next to a rusted artifact. So, I hope that they continue to refit as well. pirate:

Leaving this Sunday for a week at Beach Club! Can't Wait! :hourglass

Hmm Refurb would be the ball in Epcot!(whatever that thing is really called it will always be the ball to us!)
I love the Rio de Tiempo- my favorite scene is the swim up bar that you look down on- I feel like I am in the 70's at some cheesy hotel in Mexico- love it!
Hmm get rid of Stitch! Waste of time even though my kids enjoy Stitch they thought the ride was a snooze.
And how about giving the Jungle cruise a little face lift. (but don't lose the backside of water- lamo joke but we love it!)

We haven't been to Disney since they opened the Stitch ride. What makes it so bad that it needs closed already? Snow White needs refurbished, make it less scary for smaller kids. We enjoy the Magic Carpets, especially the spitting camel!

Erm, I quite like Stitch :rolleyes1 :guilty: I especially like going knowing about the chili dog so I can hold my breath at the right moment and listen to the squeals :rotfl2:I was too chicken to do the alien encounter but I can't help thinking that Stitch fits much better into the Magic Kingdom than alien did.

We haven't been either but from what I'm hearing we should leave it off of are touring plan and just see it if we have time to kill. What's so bad about it?
