Which attraction encompasses all that is Disney to you? Which attraction just makes your trip, and makes you think "Hey! I'm in WDW/DL/ect!"?

For me and my family, it has to be Splash Mountain. It simply isn't a disney trip without riding Splash M as many times as possible. Over and over again on the last day, preferably. At night. It's just plain ol' magical to see fireworks in the distance just before you plunge down the drop. We choreograph our ride picture, in DL, every single time.

So, what's yours?

Spaceship Earth.
But since refurb, I miss the old SE.
Dame Judi Dench puts me to sleep.

Another, would be Splash or Pirates. Both I can't miss.

Splash is my favorite ride, but I think for me, it's when I see Dumbo. Silly maybe, but I love it and love seeing it...

I can't say 1 specific ride...but just entering the MK & walking up Main St towards the castle-seeing it with your eyes just tells you you're there!!!

Carousel of Progress. I really appreciate all of the old-fashioned stuff that nobody would ever dare create again.

Definitely "It's A Small World" and I have to agree with SWALD91....as soon as I lay eyes on the Castle, I get goosebumps, a little teary-eyed:sad1: and then I know for sure, we have arrived. :lovestruc

For me, it's Peter Pan. It was my first ride in Disneyland in 1962 and I have to ride it every time we go to WDW, even if I have to stand in the terrible standy lines. I was so excited to see that Disneyland Paris had it too.

This is actually a tough one for me. Its a Small World reminds me of my Mum, its her favourite ride and reminds me of being a kid. Big Thunder Mountain reminds me of my kids, its the one ride they ride over and over again. Soarin is my favourite ride.

So I'd have to pick all three..LOL

Philharmagic! I know it's a newer attraction, but with its engaging story, soaring music, dazzling animation, multi-sensory delights, and heaps of charm and humor, it's quintessential Dinsey World to me.

Peter Pan's Flight really does it for me. I don't even care that I notice the mechanical bits holding it together now that I'm older; whenever I climb into that boat, I feel like a kid again. It's just so whimsical. :goodvibes

As cheesy as it is, It's a Small World

To me, it's the People-Mover. I love that ride so much, and I doubt I'd give it a second glance anywhere outside of Tomorrowland. That's as fine a symbol of Disney World as I can imagine.
I'd also like to give an honorary mention to the Monorail.... not sure if everyone would qualify it as an attraction, but it is for me!

Seeing the castle tells me I'm at Disney - and our trip wouldn't be complete without a ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - when he shouts "hang on to your hats and glasses because this here is the wildest ride in the wilderness" I know I'm in the place where magic lives :)
