Which Attraction Represents 'Disney' to You?

Without a doubt, for me it's:

it's a small world

And I know I'm at the World when driving/riding in I see the Monorail.

Which attraction encompasses all that is Disney to you? Which attraction just makes your trip, and makes you think "Hey! I'm in WDW/DL/ect!"?

For me and my family, it has to be Splash Mountain. It simply isn't a disney trip without riding Splash M as many times as possible. Over and over again on the last day, preferably. At night. It's just plain ol' magical to see fireworks in the distance just before you plunge down the drop. We choreograph our ride picture, in DL, every single time.

So, what's yours?

Same here. I just haven't been to Disney if I haven't been on Splash.

To me it is a tie between Splash Mountain and Killamanjaro Safari. Those are so creative and they really are newer rides that I think Walt would approve of.

It has to be the magic, beauty and sounds on Main Street USA! :)

The monorail....takes me where I must want to be! MK or EPCOT!!

It was Spaceship Earth before the refurb, but now it is probably Tower of Terror or IASW.

Whenever I think of Disney I think of Dumbo. There are a lot of other rides I like better, but Dumbo is Disney to me.

When I think of Disney I always start with PoTC and HM.

Pirates is mine. I didn't get to ride it my first time till I was an adult. But for that ride I was 10 years old again.

For me its Pirates and Haunted Mansion. I do want to give a shout out to the parking tram though! I totally agree that it is an important part of the Disney experience. When we were kids my brothers and I used to call it "our warm-up ride"! :thumbsup2

MY #1 IS THE PLANE RIDE FROM CONN TO ORLANDO ONCE WE TOUCH DOWN I AM IN DISNEY MODE.

MK it's Philharmagic
AK: Dinosaur
HS: The Beauty and the Beast
Epcot: It is Figment (I love him ) :figment:

You realize, of course, that almost all rides/attractions mentioned are in MK!!!! That was the first park, and therefore, a classic.I'd go with Space Mountain in MK, ToT in DHS, The Tree in AK, and SE in EPCOT.

I was just noticing that too! Only Spaceship Earth really makes an appearance otherwise!

For me, it's seeing the castle for the first time princess: It doesn't matter if I'm on the monorail, can see it from the Ferry Boat, or walking down Main Street!

For my brother, he needs to ride the train round trip. That would always be the first thing we did, then we'd walk down Main Street. We have 4 rides in our family that we must hit every trip. The Train, Haunted Mansion (me), Small World (Dad), and People Mover (Mom.) Then we're all happy & on vacation :wizard:

Peter Pan, but the first ride we always go on at Mk is the Wedway (People Mover). I don't know why, but this has been our "thing" forever.

Splash Mountain, Spaceship Earth, Everest, and Tower of Terror!

and def. the monorail!

Tower of Terror as its ride that my Mother, my Kids and both of us just loved!!!! we still talk about it 2 years later.

But nothing says Disney as seeing the Fireworks over Cinderella's castle - its just like the old TV show or the starting of Movies now!!!
