Which AllStars Resort?
We are planning on going to Disney (my boyfriend and I). Since I'm a struggling college student, we will have to stay at a value resort. Any suggestions on which allstar is the best for late teens/early twenty's? Oh yeah and do they have a minimum age for checkin? I'm not twentyone yet. Is that a problem? Oh and I'm new to this... and other than mousesavers what are ways to get good deals on park tickets? Or should I get a package? Any help is appreciated.

This is my first post on the board.

I think you only have to be 18 to make a reservation. Also I recommend the Music All Star. It is the quietest in my opinion of the 3 as far as having older teens there. I liked it when I was there and am 23. Hope this helps!!!:)

I think you should try to get the ASMovies- really has that Disney theming, best food court and best pool! Request either Toy Story or Dalmation section to be close to everything, without paying the extra $10 per night for preferred location- Fantasia.

When are you going? I believe peak season starts around mid- Feb and goes through April. Check mousesavers.com for codes and be careful when booking that you get the Central eservations Office- with the 5 day out cancel policy.

Welcome to the DIS!!! Be glad to help in any way I can!

I have stayed at each of the All Star resorts and for you guys, I would suggest Music. You are not traveling with children so you may want to stay away from Movies since there are A LOT of kids there. Also, at the Sports, it seems that you travel through the Football section "at your own risk" due to the footballs being thrown. If you can swing it, ask for a preferred room in the Music which are in the Calypso buildings. It's great to have a shorter walk to your room at the end of a long, long day.

I know that whichever choice you make, you'll have an absolute blast!

Like a couple of others, I'd recommend ASMusic. Although I wasn't happy there, let me tell you why-I have 2 college aged sons, and the whole time I was there, I kept seeing so many college aged types, it reminded me of being at home! I was solo and wanted to be on vacation! This is a Mom talking, remember, the young people, though, appeared to be having a great time!
