Which All Star???

Which All Star should I choose for 10 & 8 yr old boys, and 4 yr old girl? Will all 5 of us fit in one room? Don't want to be crawling all over each other--we don't spend alot of time in the room though. Thought about doing a cabin at Fort Wilderness, but for the difference in cost, didn't think it was worth it.

I would choose sports. There is no discount for Movies and I've never stayed at Music.

You won't all fit in a room and you will be crowded. You could try PO - Riverside with a trundle bed or get two rooms at All Star. The boys could have their own room, which works out really well.

I would suggest Port Orleans - Riverside - Alligator Bayou section where you can get a trundle bed. They are the only moderate where you can go with 5, and no values will allow it (fire codes).

Since we all won't fit into one room, which moderate would you recommend? We've done DxL, so something different. We like to drive to the resorts, so proximity to bus stops are not an issue. We like pleasant surroundings, and not a "hotel" feel. We thought DxL was really nice. Am really wanting Fort Wilderness cabin, but don't like the idea of having to wait on a bus to go to the parking lot for my car. I am very impatient. But I think the kids would love all of the stuff to do at FW. Please make any suggestions. My husband is VERY picky about his accomodations. Are the cabins big enough for all 5 of us?

Double-check that parking situation (you might want to check on the camping board). All the times we were there, years ago, you could drive into the campground only to go to your campsite. BTW, we thought it was an ideal situation when we had young children-separate BR for them to watch TV, one could nap while everyone else was in LR watching TV (or whatever), kitchen facilities for eating cereal and milk in AM, I could go on and on about what we saw as the benefits of staying there with kids.

I was just there in June and you can park your car right outside the cabin. They just don't want you driving around the campground alot. There are a few spaces to park at the Settlement trading post but none by the boats to MK. There is parking by the Outpost which is where you would pick up the buses to AK/BB, TL/DTD, and Epcot. MGM bus is picked up at the settlement bus stop. We enjoyed the cabin as it allowed our 2 DDs to sleep in one room and my DH and I to sleep on the murphy bed in the living room. The murphy bed was so comfortable that my husband stated it is the best he has slept as WDW and we have stayed at POR, AKL, and the Polynesian. If you are driving to the parks you would have no problem using your car to enter and exit Ft. Wilderness. I think there would be plenty of room for you all in the cabin. There is a double bed and one set of bunkbeds in the bedroom and as I stated before a murphy bed in the living room. The only downside side is it only has one bathroom. We solved this by having the kids shower at and night and the two adults showering in the morning. It's easier to just get the kids dressed in the am then to try to shower tham also when they are not ready to get up yet.

We also ate breakfast in the cabin which was a money and time saver. And we usually ate either lunch or dinner in the cabin - nothing fancy just hotdogs, tuna fish, or pbj. We also took our own water to the park after freezing it the night before.
