Which accomodation to choose?

Hi, planning our first visit to DLP this year and we are really torn between davy crockett ranch and the explorers hotel. We'll be driving and have a 4 year old boy and 1 year old girl. Can you please give any advice, is the swimming pool in davy crocketts warm and has anyone had any problems with the cabins being really dirty as on another website there were quite a few complaints. Any advice/comments would be great!

We loved the DCR and would probably stay here on our next trip

Although we always stay at the Explorers and I am quite happy with it, as you are driving I would recommend you stay at Davy Crockett Ranch. The pool is so much better than the Explorers and you have the bonus of having breakfast in your cabin plus you may see some characters there!!

I would second Elaine's comment the ranch is really great.

I would go with DCR as it is Disney.

I had this dilema too and chose the Explorers becasue i found a good deal with supernreaks for half the price of crocket and the explorers has a shuttle bus and crocket dosnt. And i think it will cost E8 a day to park your car at the park if you take your own vehicle.

Thank you so much you've probably all saved me from divorce, my husband is sick of me going on, i shall book davy crocketts tomorrow.

parking will be free if you stay at DCR.

If you have a car I would go with DCR as it is Disney, and they may be Extra Magic Hours.
