Which 2 bedroom villa in middle of August?

Kidani 2 bedroom is awesome for a group of adults. That third bathroom is fabulous, and parking is under the resort, which is really nice. The only downside are the current food options. They are kind of limited. And to get to Mara, which isn't serving lunch, you have to take a shuttle or walk to Jambo. Not horrible, but not super convenient.

CCV at WL is nice. And we just really love WL. Also, their QS, Roaring Fork, is open. Geyser Point is open. And Whispering Canyon is open. It's just more options, plus you are only a boat ride to MK and the other MK resorts (via MK right now) for even more food options.

My family is traveling to Florida middle of August. We are from Minnesota. We have been to Florida in August so we know about the heat and yes the humidity in Florida. We will be coming to Disney after a 4 night beach trip. There are 7 of us. its my sister, my 24 old neice, my boys (16 and 18), my 21 year old daughter and her best friend and me. We are looking for a nice resort and will have resort time in the afternoons and probably a morning. We are staying 5 nights. Would you choose Animal Kingdom Savanna view, Copper Creek or Riviera Standard view? All are about the same price and all are 2 bedrooms. We love all the parks. This will probably be our last trip all together for a long time. My kids and neice are getting very busy with college. Need advice?
#1. AKL Kidani (3 bathrooms)
#2. Riviera
#3. CCV- my home resort and I love it dearly but it does have small two bedroom villas

Exactly.

If I wasn't trying to fit a group of 7 where the youngest is 16 years-old, Kidani would be my last choice.

For example, of my spouse and I were breaking 4 young children, I'd go with either CCV (closer to MK) or Riviera (Skyliner to 2 theme parks).

However, taking into account the makeup on the OP's family, having more space is an important consideration.

I checked on the square footage of Riviera's 2 BR villa: 1246 sq ft. that will be the largest of 3 villas you are looking at. We stayed in a 2 BR villa at VGF, 1232 sq ft., our family enjoyed the extra living space (we did miss the 3rd bathroom). AKL Kidani 1173 sq ft, Riviera 1246 sq ft, CCV 1051 sq ft

Given the make-up of the OP's party, I would go with AKL-Kidani. I think having that 3rd bathroom will be very beneficial.
