And I am already tired this morning. Or at least sweaty. DH and I did a one mile walk before getting ready. :crazy2: We try to do at least three miles 4 or 5 times a week. But here in the summer we keep running out of time in the evenings. So we decided to do one in the morning and two in the evening.

What were we thinking!!! Oh well, I can just pretend I am walking toward the Castle and my first ice cream! :mickeybar

Gotta get ready for work, have a great Tuesday, everyone! :wave2:

Checking my mail before getting ready for work myself. I tried a couple years ago to do some walking in the morning but I have to take a shower right when I get out of bed or I'm never awake so the walking got lost in the shuffle. LOL

I did get my crafting stuff unpacked last night so I get to really start playing tonight and finishing those swaps up. I can't wait. Its only been a couple weeks but it feels like forever.

I'm teaching my jewelry classes today (my Fedex man FINALLY came through), taking DS14 to the Ortho, and finishing up my swap stuff...These ones are looking good.

It's supposed to be STINKIN HOT here today, and possible severe thunderstorms later. Hazy, Hot and Humid...That's what you get for living in a state that is built on a swamp.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!!

Happy Tuesday all

My Plans for today

NOTHING!!!!!!!

Sat night we had a sleepover
went to bed at 4 got up at 5:30

Sunday night
Huge thunderstorms No Sleep there either

last night I thought sleep would be easy

Nope DD woke me up at 9:30 i was up with her till 11 than DH alarm went off at 12:30 and since he is having a Miserable time at work he keeps calling me
so I give up

So today I will do NOTHING
not a load of Laundry
not a Dish
nothing
just put my feet up and rest

Oh wait never mind that will never happen

well I will do as little as humanly possible and try to take a nap

hope you all have a Great day

I don't know about anyone else but these nights are too quick!!! DH has decided to work from home today so my computer time will be limited..but this will allow me to use the time to work on swap items!!!
It's pouring so no park program for the kids.. and this is the last week for it. :(
I need to get the dishes into the dishwasher.. we had 4-H meeting and basketball last night..and DH is not to load the dishwasher because he doesn't do it right.. and I wa just too tired to care when I got home from 4-H.. which reminds me.. I need to re-order some prints to fix some pictures for the 4-H scrapbook...
Hope everyone has a great day!!!

 Nice relaxing day today. We are seeing the family free movie this morning. The installation guys will be here most of the day (we are getting a generator for hurricane season). Then the kids will probably swim this afternoon. My favorite kind of summer day! :thumbsup2

It will be a lazy kind of day here, too. After the craziness of yesterday (swim lessons, Cool School, swim, doctor's appointment, crop club), it will be a nice change. :sunny: Maybe I'll even get some swap stuff done. Here's to hoping! Have a great day! It's my half birthday! :cool1:

Happy Half Birthday! Enjoy half of a cake! :teeth:

Debbie, please post pictures from your Jewerly class. I would love to see what you taught! :)

Happy half birthday! (and love the cake, :lmao: )

Nancy, LMAO at not letting your dh load the dishwasher. (and I totally agree!) :thumbsup2

Major thunderstorms here during the night....LOUD!!! Then my morning started TOO early when my ds woke me up to tell me to go look in the bathroom...(oh no)....he had made a little ocean in the sink to float some of his toys, and oops, it flooded my floor (and went into all of the drawers in the vanity). UGH!!!!!!!!!! :stir: (still trying to come up with a punishment that won't end up being a punishment for ME  )
He changed his mind about soccer camp yesterday, so I don't have to do that morning run today...just the one for my dd to cheerleading camp this evening. (so cute...for 6-10 year olds)
I want to lay on the couch all day...and watch random things on TLC like A Baby Story and A Makeover Story. And eat bonbons. :teeth:
Not likely....maybe I'll make a dunkin donuts run for some real coffee!! :surfweb:
Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Hi everyone! Not much going on here today either. I am off this week until Thursday from my little fill-in job. I just do Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, and then I am done until I go back to "real work" on the 28th. I hope that some time in there I will finish my Disney album!!! ;) I am hoping to go to the park and walk when DH gets home, but it doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate!

Have a great day everyone! Happy 1/2 birthday, Mickster!! :cheer2:

Thanks, guys! I knew I could count on you. My DH thinks I've lost my mind - when I talk about my half birthday. The cake has inspired me - I think I'll make one for myself! :yay:

Hello everyone!

Today and tomorrow are my 2 days off this week and I made myself a list of 31 things to accomplish in these 2 days. I titled my list "No exceptions, no excuses" so I have to do them! It's a bunch of little things I've been procrastinating for too long. I've crossed off 5 so far. I need to get ready to go and do the "outside the house" items on my list.

One of the items on my list is "make significant progress on Swaps - have at least one group totally finished" so it's not all boring stuff - some fun too. I spent about an hour on the Ride Swap this morning so I'll finish that this evening and tomorrow it's onto (hopefully) finishing the Land Swap. My Adventureland frames are driving me nuts. I had one idea that didn't work out, but I think I have a new one.

Happy Half Birthday Mickster! Have a good one, everyone.

NewEnglandEeyore--that list sounds like something I would do! During the school year, I always make a list of "must be dones" (as opposed to "to-dos") for each weekend. It always (for some strange reason) makes me feel better to mark stuff off! Good luck with your list!! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for the half birthday wishes! :thumbsup2 Instead of making a cake, I bought cupcakes - a half dozen to be exact. Yumm-o! :)

All of my plans to have a nice relaxing day of swap making were dashed by my bright :sunny: idea of making my office (aka scrapbook room) more kid friendly. Of course, that meant a total reorganization! Thank goodness for DS, now that he's 6! He was my awesome right hand boy! :thumbsup2

Nothing is ever easy, but it looks really good now. My kids are working on a coloring project as I type. They are soooo good! pirate: princess:

I think I'm done for today. I suppose it is almost time to make dinner. Lovely.

Yeah, I do much better when I have the reward of crossing it off the list as motivation! I did 18 of my items so far, and the day's not over. Tomorrow I will finish!

I am SO impressed with the 18 item count. You got a lot more done yesterday than I did, and I spent the whole day at my desk. :rotfl:
You will have to update us today and let us know how far you get!

I did it! 31 items in 2 days! And I feel so much better - so much of it was stuff that needed to get done but I was just procrastinating doing it. I'll definitely have to try this again.
