I kinda agree that Sleeping Beauty looks a little off... I think it could be the blue eyeshadow? I don't ever remember seeing a Princess, especially one in pink sporting blue eyeshadow

I've also always found Sleeping Beauty's costume to be a little weird. Don't get me wrong, I think it's an accurate representation of her dress but I guess it just looks... different in real life compared to a cartoon.

Fantasmic use to be my favorite show but it is slowly being replaced by Illuminations I hope they don't get rid of it like some people are predicting!

Hooray for trying the Orange side! You guys were quite brave! The first time I did Mission Space was on my solo trip, and was feeling quite adventurous and did the orange side. Needless to say I did the green side on my next trip!

I will definitely let you know when I'm coming over, am hoping we can have a mini DIS meet

I know, I can't believe it either!!! It's actually not that bad and like I mentioned for some reason I felt worse for wear after coming off from the green side!

I agree...think it looks better in the cartoon character then in real life. At first I thought maybe it was just this Sleeping Beauty and another one may be better. However, I noticed Princess Aurora earlier in the day in France and she looked similar.

I never got to watch Fantasmic so I can't compare but I definitely loved Illuminations What?!!! I don't want it to go!!! I really hope it is just a rumour.

Oh no, she doesn't sound like a great Aurora! I'm not sure if she ignored our table or had been whilst we were at the buffet. Either way she did come back but I didn't really care for her too much.

I watched it soo many times - every chance I could get! It sure is a great show. I think I only got the nerve because Zaheer was adamant on riding it and I didn't want to be a chicken and back out! I actually felt queasy on the green side (but had only just eaten) however felt fine on the orange side.

It was soo much fun! We found the food was some of the best we had and there was plenty of choice as a result of the buffet - you should try it some time Haha I'm glad you agree about Sleeping Beauty - out of all the princesses she was the only one that looked strange

Illuminations is amazing and by far my favourite nighttime show at WDW I think I saw it about 3-4 times during our trip and even that wasn't enough!

I probably never would have done Mission Space (orange side) on my own but it wasn't that bad knowing that I had someone sat next to me. Oh I loved Illumination though can understand that not everyone feels the same over the show.

Akershus was a fun meal and the princesses were fun to meet. I have to admit I was a little sad that Cindy didn't spend more time with us but we didn't let that put us off.

The meal at Akershus was definitely delish and I loved meeting the princesses. I sure wasn't expecting a flirtatious waiter but like I said I wasn't complaining!!!

Aaw thank you...I wouldn't have braved Orange side on my own but it wasn't too bad knowing someone was with me.

I set a wake up call for 7.40am as I thought we had a reservation at 1900 Park Fare for 9.45am.

I loved waking up to Stitch and Mickey! After getting ready we took a bus to Epcot - this turned out to be a big mistake. I think it was too early in the morning for my brain to function as I sort of knew that going to MK was the best option.

Anyway so this meant we had to get a monorail to TTC and then change for Grand Floridian. I thought we were running late for our 9.45am reservation however once we checked in we found out the time of our reservation was 10.45am and not 9.45am. I could have had some more sleep!! I'm pretty sure this was the one and only time we were early for a meal and that was because I had noted the wrong time. Oh well everything worked out fine in the end.

We had our picture taken but decided not to buy it.

We went to get our food and were just tucking in when Pooh arrived.

I loved the food and meeting the characters. The only complaint I have was the size of the table - it was tiny. With our plates, the tea selection and coffee pot it was packed!

Tigger was next and we had a lot of fun with him.

At this point my Cinderella slipper dessert arrived. On hindsight I probably should have asked for a different message or left it blank. Oh well...I still enjoyed it and it was very yummy and rich. It did mean I did not get much from the dessert buffet but I didn't mind as I could happily eat this beauty for breakfast any day!!

Mary Poppins came by next and said our dessert was magical and asked how it was made. I told her I wasn't sure but it was very yummy and the secret ingredient did the trick!

Mad Hatter and Alice were next. I was soo looking forward to meeting Mad Hatter and he didn't disappoint. He commented on the slipper dessert and I said it was going to get demolished. His response was 'slippers are to be worn not demolished' I explained it was too small to be worn Alice signed my book on the wrong page (next to Cinderella) and once Mad Hatter heard her name he kept calling her Cindercrella! I asked if she knew he called her that and the Mad Hatter told me she did. I said I would tell her when I saw her.

Pooh and Tigger came back again and we took some more photos. I kissed Pooh and hugged Tigger.

Zaheer got a plate of fruit and Strawberry Soup for dessert. I tried the Strawberry Soup and did not like it at all. I was a bit disappointed but I guess it's like marmite...you either love or hate the stuff!

We took some photos of the resort which I actually really liked. From the photos I had seen beforehand I didn't think I would like Grand Floridian that much but it was very pretty. I'm not sure if I would stay here but it is a pretty resort to visit.

We got a bus to Blizzard Beach. I have to admit I wasn't looking forward to another water park but decided to give it a chance.

We got changed and headed to the lazy pool. Again I loved this and could happily spend time here. There were not many photos of our time here so once again the next pic is from Google images.

We went to Teamboat Springs and Rapid Runoffs. I screamed all the way through both attractions but have to admit they were fun!

Zaheer wanted to go on the extreme water rides but I had had my fair share and decided to return to my chair and read a book for a bit.

Now please don't laugh at me (you can laugh with me just not at me!) but as some of you may know my sense of direction is absolute zilch! I headed to our stuff on my own and couldn't find it. I must have walked around the place loads of times and got myself even more confused then was possible. I bumped into a really nice CM called Brian who noticed I was confused and asked if he could help. I explained the situation and bless him he walked with me until we located my spot. He was very sweet and we spoke along the way. He asked about the parks in the UK and what I enjoyed in the water parks.

I read my book and waited for Zaheer to return. He went on everything but Summit Plummit. He went on Slush n Gusher but said the queue was too long for Summit Plummit. I explained what had happened on my journey back earlier and he laughed his head off!!

We decided to get out of Blizzard Beach and return to Pop.
