Where's the "GREAT JOB CARLY!!!" thread?

I expected to find all kinds of threads saying "Great job, Carly!" but can't find a one...58 posts so far on Svetlana, but none for Carly? I'll say it then: Great job, Carly!!!

All the sportswriters were saying that Carly was a good gymnast but that the Romanians were great gymnasts and that one of them would win. Carly showed them!

Ironic, isn't it? The Romanians kicked butt as a team, but couldn't win a medal in the All Around.

I'm very proud of all our gymnasts. They've done very well.

Carly earned it! Way to go girl!

I'm happy for Carly. I am disappointed with NBC over the coverage of her event. It was well after 11:00 pm and the fourth rotation hasn't even started. NBC teased me with the results after the first rotation (Carly was either in 8th or 12th). They just need to show all of the rotations simultaneously. I couldn't stay up for the last rotation. Men's and Women's Gymnastics have really excelled during this olympics.

She did awesome...there was no doubt in anyone's mind (except maybe Khorkina!) that she was the winner. She laid it all out and was flawless on floor and beam. I don't recall her making any visible errors on uneven bars either. She deserved to win, plain and simple!

I hope she pulls out another gold on the balance beam! Now that this pressure is off, she can relax and have a great time in the event finals!

I think the local news stations have interviewed everyone who has ever met Carly...they were at her gym yesterday afternoon, at a watch party of her team mates last night...they're having a great time. The only one they haven't interviewed is her gym mate at WOG, Holly Vise, who almost - but didn't - make the Olympic team. If Holly had been on the team and had done the beam routine she did at Worlds, we'd have the team gold. (But poor Holly messed up her back with that routine.) Holly, you're probably in school right now, but we love you, too!
