Where's the BEST/WORST pizza in Disney?

Funny thing you should ask about Pizza. Our son LOVES pizza and friends of ours who live in Orlando told us to go to this place called Ci Ci's Pizza. It's actually a pizza buffet sort of thing with MANY types of pizza, pasta, salad, etc. The price is like $4.99 plus beverage/tax. It's GREAT ! We love it! I'd have to lookup the address. I can tell you if you know where the Olive Garden is passed the Cross Roads and Pizza Hut area. Well, Ci Ci's is behind the Olive Garden in a plaza. As a matter of fact it's in the same area where Hooters is. Gotta love Ci Ci's!

We too enjoy good pizza. Well our friends who live in Orlando gave us this place where the locals go called Ci Ci's. WE LOVE IT ! It's a buffet style place, very clean, VARIETY of pizza, they also have pasta, salad, dessert, etc. However, you have to pay for your beverage which is not included in the price. Last time we were there I think it was either $3.99 each or $4.99 each plus beverage/tax. Okay now where is this place. If you know the area it's behind the Olive Garden near the Crossings. There's a Pizza Hut on one side and the Olive Garden on the other. It's in a plaza where there's a Hooters also. We just have to go to Ci Ci's every time we're down there. We love it ! It's where alot of locals go. I just love their sweet cinnamon rolls and their veggie pizza. Also, if you don't see anything you like just ask them and they'll most likely make what you like.

My family could live on Pizza if I let them, however they are picky pizza people - prefering Papa Ginos (a NE thing) over most anything else.

So I'm dying to hear... who's got the BEST pizza in WDW ::MickeyMo and what places should we avoid? We need the help of the experts here! :teeth:

Oh we love Papas! Espeicaily the new Rustic Pizza... thanks for just giving me an idea what to have for supper.. Good pizza in disney is hard to come by. I honestly liked the one at POP. THe personal sized ones. Have a great trip.. we leave in 9 days i think....

Wolfang Puck Cafe Express in Downtown Disney is great! Also before they switched to the Noodle Terrace (right name?), the pizza they served three years ago was similar to a Pizza Hut personal pizza but it actually tasted good. Last time we a pizza there was two years ago and they had switched to the standard pizza which isn't great but isn't too horrible....and this is from a person who is from NJ and basically only eats pizza!

To all my New Jersey people, Benny Tudino's is where the good stuff is at!

We had a pepperoni and cheese pizza on the boardwalk. The name escapes me right now, but it's part of Spoodles. Anyway, it was yummy... and very very cheesy!

and unless the pizza has improved - I have to say it was the worst pizza I've ever had. So bad my kids wouldn't eat it. Although, somehow, we had good room service pizza at the WL.

Wolfgang Puck's at Downtown Disney (Marketplace and West Side) is the best at WDW. For me, the worst pizza at WDW is better than the best pizza at home. :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy:

Coming from NJ where they know how to make a good pizza, all of the pizza at WDW is bad. I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole, and that includes Pizza Planet and Spoodles.

DH is from NJ too and loves the pizza at the take out window on the boardwalk...

I am a New Englander and grew up on Papa Ginos...man I love that place

We always order the 4 cheese pizza at Portobello Yacht Club and enjoy it very much. It's the only place we eat pizza from at WDW.
Cheers!

Well, I live in Northern NJ and I have easy (actually, too easy ;) ) access to fabulous, huge slices of handmade NY style pizza with San marzano tomatoes and real whole milk mozzarella (can you tell I'm on a diet? ;) ) but I consider that separate from pizza other places, KWIM?

I like frozen Ellio's pizza- only 150 cals a slice and it reminds me of grammar school Fridays- but it tastes *nothing* like the real deal. I like South Beach diet microwave pizzas, too, but again, it doesn't compare. So, when I'm in WDW, I will occassionally have pizza or flatbreads and enjoy them, even though they taste *nothing* like home.

I've had an individual pizza at Rosie's across from Fantasmic! and it was tasty. The appetizer four cheese flatbread at Spoodles was good, too. I will be staying at the Swan for 2 weeks this summer, and I will definitely be trying Spoodles pizza window one night because I never have before.

I will tell you to stay away from pizza delivery to your room, though. That's probably the worst. Ick.

I think as long as you compare the choices to frozen pizza or maybe Domino's, they're reasonably good, esp. if you have pizza loving kids with you. If you start comparing it to any place that has "voted best pizza in . . . . " associated with them, or has a loyal cult following for their hand tossed crust, it's not going to be looking good for the prefab dough circle in the little cardboard box, lol.

Hi

I hope you dont mind me joining in, as you can see from my profile, I am in the UK. The pizza in the UK must be very bad I dont know what you would all do if you tried it ! My reasoning beding tis is that DH and I have had delivery from ASM and POFQ on numerous occasions and love it !! :confused3

Compared to what we get at home, it is wonderful, last year when we stayed at SSR we ordered out from Papa Johns and thought this was delicious too !!

From a New Englander now living in the UK, let me say that you are correct that a lot of UK pizza is awful. There is one thing they do better with pizza in the UK than in the US, and that is supermarket pizza. Some of the stuff you can get from M&S, Sainsburys Taste the Diff., and Tescos is some pretty good stuff. I have never had a good pizza from a supermarket in the states. But 90% of the pizza you get in restaurants or take away places here is just lame.

Getting back on topic, I have had loads of good flatbreads at WDW, but the only good pizza I have ever had there was at Wolfgang Puck Express. Yum to WPE though!

The New Yawker agrees with you on that one. I really believe it's all about knowing how to make a pizza. Yes, Chicago deep dish is not NY thin crust, but they have the same idea, fresh tomato sauce and real mozzeralla. :tiptoe:

I have the same view on coffee at Disney, I'm on vacation, but the substitutes are not worth ordering.

Had to post a reply since this thread is about the best/WORST pizza at WDW. By far, the absolute WORST pizza I have ever had in my life was the meatball pizza delivered to our room at POP! Greasy, soggy, mushy goo. BUT, DGD11 absolutely LOVED it! :confused3 We will be at POP in Dec. at the same time as her friend's family. The girls already have planned a "sleepover/pizza delivery" for one night. You can be sure that I will be visiting the pool bar for a while that evening! :drinking1 Don't even want to look at/smell the stuff! :rotfl:
BTW, we LOVE everything else about the POP, including the food court! BUT, OMG, that delivery pizza...
