We have three children (two girls 4&5 and a son 7). We are surprising the girls with a Princess breakfast (hopefully) and would like to surprise son with a shrimp meal ( doesn't have to have characters ). Shrimp and broccoli are my son's all-time favorites- fried or sauteed- as long as they aren't spicy or coconut crusted. It can be fancy or a pit-stop- just trying to see if I need PS's for his special meal! Thanks!

The Cape May Cafe has a clam bake dinner every night over at the Yacht and Beach Club. I've heard great things about it and they have fried shrimp on the kids buffet. Plus it's just s short walk from Epcot and the Boardwalks right across the lake.

Hope that helps!

I second the Cape May Cafe!

It's not fancy, but hardly a pit stop either :)

Yummy food--both seafood and landlubbers!

We were there a little over a montha go, they had steamers, carving station with prime rib, peelers, a variety of salads and potatoes, a HUGE desesrt bar. The kids bar also had mac & cheese, mini dogs, fried shrimp. I want to think there was also shrimp in one of the salads.

My youngest son gets the shrimp kids meal every time we go to Spoodles. It is very lightly battered and fried and not spicy at all. It is also a very generous portion. We love Spoodles for the location and the the menu choices. It is a little loud, but with 2 sons this does not bother us.

Does he like grilled shrimp?

Another thought could be the grilled shrimp skewers at O'Hanas. I don't recall them being spicy and definitely no coconut. Except for the coconut races. ;)

It's all you can eat, but there's no broccoli :(

I'm certain brocolli is in the stir fry veggies they serve. The shrimp can be a little spicy, but just ask your server to have some plain ones preparred for your DS.

My 5 year old loves shrimp, and this year (Nov) when we went to Ohana's (we go every time), he would not eat the shrimp. It was too spicy for him. I think this year when we go, we will ask if they can do some that are not spicy. After he said they were spicy, I stopped to notice and they were definately spicy. But not too spicy for my liking. They were so yummy.

I would say Chef Mickey's or Cape May would be good choices. Chef Mickey's has boiled shrimp, and the characters are song are a blast!

We have gotten some good shrinp at Rainforest Cafe and it is a very cool resturant for a little boy. If however he wants a lot of shrimp I would go for Ohanna's where it is all you can eat.

In January we took our 6 yr old granddaughter (who also loves shrimp and broccoli) for lunch at the Japanese restaurant in Epcot. They prepared it right in front of her and the chef tossed the cut off shrimp tails in the air and caught them in his cap. She loved it. It was a show as well as a meal. Probably the most she ate the whole trip. And since it was her birthday, they brought out a cake which was shared wth everyone at the table.
