Wheres my refund question

Everybody, refunds are a week behind the IRS schedule depending how you filled. If your a 1040ez you should be on the regular schedule unless there is a problem with your stimulus refund.

If your a 1040 (make more than 56k i think) you will be in the week behind.

My state came in like 3 days but my federal is a week behind

Mine was deposited right as expected.

We had our taxes done on 2/10 and the payment was direct deposited on 2/20.. I was thrilled... I was not expecting it for another week or so!

For those of you who efiled your taces for direct deposit.

Did your message on the IRS wheres my refund page ever change from
""We have received your tax return and it is being processed. Unless we find mistakes or you owe other taxes, you should receive your refund by February 17, 2009"", to something else before your deposit date?

Had the same message, got deposit on the 18th. It changed to say your return has been processed.

Our state refund was put into our account last week. Our federal refund was put into our account yesterday. To think that we e-filed ourselves for the price of $16.95. We will never pay to have our taxes done again.

Nope, my message has not changed. I was so looking forward to having it on the 20th.

This year was the first time it wasn't deposited when it was suppose to be.

I e-filed with Turbo Tax, it was accepted and I was told February 20. The IRS website said February 24, then it changed to March 3. I wish they'd make up their minds and give me my money already!

I filed last week using tax cut. My refund was in my account in 4 days. I was really surprised how fast.

Filed using TaxACT on 2/15 and my refund is in my account today!

Moral of the story - use Tax Act and you'll get your refund fast, I'll remember that for next year!

My status FINALLY changed and said it should be deposited be February 27th.

I just checked the IRS website again this morning, now it tells me that they found mistakes on my return and my refund has been reduced $278 - "We changed the amount of the recovery rebate credit you claimed on your tax return because the amount entered was computed incorrectly." I did my taxes with Turbo Tax so I'm not sure if this is their error or mine. Anyone else have this problem?

Oh yeah, and now it says it should be deposited Feb. 27 instead of March 3.

We used turbo tax on feb. 13th, wasn't processed till that tuesday because of president's day on the 17th. Our message was just changed to say direct deposit on the 27th, if we don't have it don't call unitl after march 4th.

Thank goodness! We need groceries here!
